The NOW Massage Pasadena

The NOW is my new go to spot! I love the 80 minute deep tissue massage; it's so relaxing. I workout quite frequently, and at times quite intensely, so this has been integral in my self care and recovery routine. The membership plan helps save money and is easy to cancel. The staff are professional and friendly and the therapists are skilled and attentive. Def give this place a shot! I personally recommend Jamie if you go!

The first time I went to the NOW, I left not feeling sure if I would come back. I gave this place a second try and Monica totally turned it around for me. Monica is hands-down one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had! She asked me what my needs were and definitely met them, and more. I appreciate her quality of work, her healing hands and focusing on areas that needed extra love. The 80 minute massage was 100% worth it. Thank you Monica! Entering to exit is exactly what you do at The Now. Once you enter their space you are transported to a dim lit room with the crashing waves of a land far away to get you ready for some relaxation. The monthly membership price is reasonable and I’ve paid it for a couple of months now. Once you find your preferred therapist, none of the add ons are needed. The Now signature massage is the way to go, the healer was too weak for my liking. … has it replaced my fav spot in Ktown? … for now it has, but I don’t see myself not going back to my fav spot. Thai massages are my absolute fav. Oh and they have 2hr free parking! Happy Munchies, aVeganAndHer

So happy The Now Massage opened in Pasadena. This massage studio is one of my favorites. The receptionist, Mirelly & Lauren, were so kind and friendly upon arrival. I was booked for a 50 Min Signature Now massage with Krysta (hands of an angel), and added on the The Gua Sha (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) its a service to the whole body which felt so great for my neck and back. I also added on the Herbal Heat Therapy which helps reduce tension and increase relaxation. The perfect combo for body love and relaxation. I ended with one last add on for the scalp renewal which was a lovely scented Ouai product to hydrate the scalp and was not oily at all. I highly recommend this massage studio for all your relaxation needs. No to mention, this location has a parking structure attached to the studio so its so easy and convenient - 90 mins free. I can't wait to come back, relax and reconnect with my body!

Very calming atmosphere with the sound of crashing waves. The aromas were soothing to the mind. Jamie was very good at getting the kinks out. I feel straighter and taller than when I went in. I’ll be back for sure.

Really appreciated my masseuse Brian’s strength and attention to the areas I had mentioned. Wasn’t as satisfied with the $15 cooling eye treatment, which amounted to just fiddly under eye patches I could’ve put on myself any day.

The NOW is a beautiful space from their bathrooms to their waiting room. Each of the massage rooms have ocean sounds playing and are separated by a cloth wall (?) instead of a drywall so you can hear noises/conversations from your neighbors. They also have a parking garage with free parking as well. I got a 50 minute swedish massage (The Now) and my husband got the energy balancing massage (The Healer). The massages were relaxing and got our knots out but we weren't fans of their techniques where they use really slow movements. My masseuse Soshi had to go a bit deeper to get my knots out and focused on my problem area (neck/shoulder) so she barely worked on my arms/legs. She did a great job in 50 minutes since I came in really tight with sore muscles from my intense workouts a few days before.
