Booked this last minute and this was the only place with availability. Now I understand why. The weirdest massage parlour I’ve ever been to. The owner is just weird, a creepy guy, who barely spoke to us. No “hello” no “welcome”. The first thing he said was “pay first” and made us pay up front and add tip before we even received any services. Then even though we had booked a couples massage, he led us to individual rooms. What’s the point of a “couples” massage?! Now for the massage itself it was ok - I have no complaints there. But then when we were heading out, the masseuses and the owner sort of ganged up on us asking us - very intently - to reconsider our tip. We felt very awkward and intimidated and gave them an extra cash tip so that we could leave as soon as possible. Terrible experience, terrible place, avoid!

I am so confused as to why people are flabbergasted that you have to pay upfront prior to the service when a lot of massage places have you pay online when booking your appointment. I actually appreciate that I have the option to pay in-person so I won't get a penalty fee or won't get a refund in case I don't show up for my appointment. Sure, tipping is optional but I have been to a lot of cheap massage places like this and some even have a minimum of 20% so this is not surprising to me. These small places are cheap because they rely on tips to make end meets and I understand that. For how cheap the price of the service is and the quality of the massage they have provided me, I actually liked the experience and thought the place was decent so I'm considering visiting again. I have been to a lot of cheap massage places and this is one of the very few that I thought my money was worth every penny. I'm not gonna disagree that their people skill is subpar but I did not care about that since I paid a cheap price so why would I anticipate a luxury treatment. I left the place relaxed and my body felt great and that's all I went there for.

amazing massage! this place is great! they are so sweet and so clean and they really took care of my shoulder pain i came in with! one of the best thai massages i’ve ever had and i go often but just moved to this area. surprised about the reviews- paying in advance isn’t weird at all and of course you should tip! 20 or more is a standard tip at thai massage places, most of them have signs saying this. we paid upfront and tipped after. definitely going back regularly.

I should have read the reviews before coming here. Was made to pay upfront before the massage started. I came with extreme pain and tightness in my shoulders. Massage was alright and the masseuse recommended I get cupping and it’s 20 dollars extra. I paid them extra and I got HARASSED for tip. They started demanding that for 90 minute massage I should pay 20 dollar tip. I don’t understand how someone can demand a specific amount for tip. I tip according to how much I liked the service. The massage didn’t even last exactly 90 minutes. She cut me short my 10 minutes. Demanding and harassing someone for tip is outrageous to me. Never coming back here. I didn’t ask to be made feel so fricking uncomfortable while paying. Smfh.

Holy... they chased me out to my car for a tip! Ha. I wish I were making this up. When I arrived, they made me pay first which was a little odd. But fine. When I finally got to my massage, I don't think the woman really knew what she was doing. Moreover, two men who worked there were drilling some new doors into place and chatting and laughing with each other--hardly what I'd call relaxing. To top off the terrible massage and the loud noises during the experience, as I was walking to my car the lady ran outside and yelled, "TIPS! TIPS!" She was quickly followed by one of the guys who was installing the door to goad me into tipping her. I've been to plenty of massages and spas and this was by far my worst experience. Happy Feet and The Massage Place are on the same street and both were so much more respectful and had decent masseuses which earned and warranted their tips. Avoid this place. It's clear they cater to a specific type of clientele with all their signs that say the police monitors the place...

Unbelievable. They make you pay up front. They make you tip a specific amount. I got a 60 minute massage and I hated it. It just wasn’t good and a waste of time. The cost was $60. I tipped $5 which was very kind. They literally chased me out of the establishment, made me come back to store and said to tip $10 more. This is NOT where you want to go.

Tip is not mandatory but they make it seem like it is. I tried tipping $10 but they lady said it was not enough she wanted me to tip $30 for my $110 total. Plus I booked a couples massage at 5pm and they did not get us in until 5:40pm. Teach ur staff that tipping is based on service. Massage was decent.

Deep tissue massage like no other! Monica the massage therapist has magic hands - she was so informative of my pain areas and made me feel relaxed on an entire new level. And the staff who scheduled us was SO KIND - she did not rush me and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted. Really appreciated their kindness and amazing work - looking forward to my next visit!
