Happy Head Foot Reflexology and Massage Spa - Rancho San Diego

I had a foot reflexology appt 2 days ago. Not much massage on my feet. I am 5 feet tall female and a male therapist was available. I feel like my spine is bruised the male therapist used his elbow to apply deep pressure directly on my spine bone between my scapulas. I dont think bones are involved in giving massages its suppose to be the muscles. Also I could feel the long nails scratching. I thought it was suppose to relax me but Im hoping the pain from my spine will go away by tomorrow. Then he followed me out and just stood there watching me, and was expecting a tip I guess. I refused to tip but called back later to explain. The cashier said its $10 minimum on cards but thats not a tip then sounds like it an undisclosed charge which is no longer allowed.

Wonderful experience! From the moment you walk in to when you leave. Massage was the perfect strength. I did the Asian style body &foot massage and it was fantastic.

One large shared room and about ten private rooms- it’s a big place. It seems all the massage therapists are from China and have limited English so that is a limitation. Each table has a button you can press to get translation help - but the receptionist just uses an app! She didn’t even know if they spoke Mandarin or Cantonese! Maybe other receptionists are bilingual. I got a 1 hour deep tissue massage and it was good. Not fantastic - I have had fantastic massages in the past and it is hard to find someone who is truly gifted. These less-expensive places are usually a crapshoot in terms of quality. I was given an envelope to give a cash tip. The therapist waited in the lobby for me to come out, Handed me a glass of water and I gave him the envelope. So that was all fine. It sounds like other people had negative experiences with the tips. It’s so nice to be free to communicate so that’s a downside to this place for me.

AMAZING!!! I really needed this massage Wesley was perfect, the pressure he used was just right! I will be requesting him again. I do come once a month and I just love it!

I have been a loyal client at the Rancho San Diego Happy Head for well over a decade and have never had an issue like I did today. My therapist today Helen was fantastic, the rest of the experience was awful. They booked a large party in the foot reflexology room so the entire room was full. All of these people came in 30 minutes into my massage. They were loud and talking, the therapists were talking to each other and the constant scraping of stools and foot basins was extremely distracting and not at ALL relaxing. I addressed this with the manager or owner, unsure. It was a pregnant female out front. I expressed my concerns and let them know I’ve never had a negative experience like this before. I was told well we had a large group come in and it’s the weekend so we are busy. (it’s a weekday, not the weekend) and next time you should use earplugs. The negative experience was made out to be my fault. That being said I will spend my hard earned $120 for somewhere else who cares about loyal customer experiences.

First time going here and this will be our new go to massage place! Customer service is great and the variety of services at the prices are a dream.

So happy with my service today at the rancho location. Ben did such a phenomenal job with my parental massage today. My body was in so much pain and I was able to get so much tension removed from my lower back, hips and upper shoulders. Staff is always happy and upbeat while checking in at the front desk.

Did a great job. Had a ton of back pain and I kept having spasms but she got through it and feel much better.
