Epic Massage

I traveled to Tempe recently and felt my pinch nerve flaring as I went through my week. Epic Massage was right across from my hotel and the therapist, Corinn, had availability, so I jumped at an appointment. I’m glad I did. By the time I left, I was happily “massage drunk,” having relaxed so well that I fell asleep a couple of times. Corinn’s technique was thorough and the pressure was perfect—not too strong, not too fluffy. She checked in a couple of times to make sure it was all good. I’m so grateful she was there and is so good at what she does. It was just what I needed to relax the muscles around my neck and shoulder. If I make it back to Tempe, I’ll book again.

Not worth it. I've been to plenty of massages from the cheapest "acupressure" to high end resorts and this left me feeling a bit ripped off. Not once was asked how I was doing during the massage or after. After a few minutes into the massage I stated "I can take more pressure, I know you are probably just warming up though" but more pressure never came. I was never asked if the pressure was good or anything about how I was doing. Never asked how the massage was or if I felt better after. I requested a full body massage but areas were completely missed like the glutes and upper arms. The massage felt low effort, with very slow movements that felt mostly like just spreading oil out on the skin rather than a massage and took up so much time that I was surprised when the hour massage was over. With that style, the massage was not invigorating and I left tight, achy, sore and irritated that I didn't get my money's worth. Some other side note things that are worth mentioning, it's in a salon and the nail polish chemicals were noxious even in the massage room. You could hear other things going on in the business and her phone went off as well. On the positive notes, the facility was tidy, clean, and presentable. Her massage would definitely be better suited for someone who needs a very gentle massage or for someone who likes foot massages as she seemed comfortable to focus on that area and was decent at it.

Easy to book. Great value for the price. I came into town to see my son at ASU and run a spartan race. A great way to get prepared. Thank you.

One word.. AMAZING! In town for a trip thought nice foot reflexology massage would be great. Found Epic Masage close to where we were staying and it was AMAZING! CORINN was fabulous. Great location, parking right on side of building, you can park where the Mirabella signs are. Next time I'm in town for a trip. I'll be back, thanks Corinn. Just finished my session with Corinn and it was a wonderful experience. The location was clean, smelled nice, and the music was pleasantly soothing. Corinn’s hands were so soft and she did an amazing job. Definitely coming back.
