Paris Men's Spa

This is a Google review for Chuck, a massage therapist at Paris Men’s Spa in New York. I’ve discovered Chuck as massage therapist after I’ve got a pinched nerve and a chiropractor suggested me to see this amazing guy every couple of days for several weeks, or/until lower back pain is completely gone. Chuck was exceptional in taking care of me, including, later, as a regular customer, which I have soon became.I consider him to be my personal massage therapist, the guy is so good and is caring about you holistically, but ultimately you have to find the one who can talk your body’s language. Overall, the place itself is perfectly clean and conducive to letting go of tension. If you in the rush (as I have been sometimes,) there always young massage guys (appointment is still requested by the establishment), who won’t disappoint if/when your therapist is not available. Thus, I also wanna put a big word in for Javier I met there this way — his hands can work real magic, hope to see him around there again. So far - love the place including as a local institution. Will update.

Went in for a 45-minute massage ($60), left with greasy skin and $90 short. The "massage" was mostly just oil being rubbed on my body. And when I checked out, I was charged $70, because apparently I went over time, even though that wasn't my decision (10 of those extra minutes were me taking off and putting on my clothes... the other 5 was a little overtime by the masseuse.) Fernando was sweet, but the whole business felt a little shady. I imagine some of these reviews are posted because customers get a free 30-min foot massage if they post a good review.

Got a 60 min massage earlier today with Alex. He really did excellent body work on me - and I am not easy to massage at all with extremely tight hips and knots everywhere from rigorous training. His massage was as strong and deep tissue approach as I asked for, he checked in periodically to ensure that all was good. I've been getting GOOD qi gong tui na massage for years and can recognize a fake, low skilled masseur immediately. Alex didn't disappoint at all and he has a great energy about him. The facility was relaxing, clean and beautiful. Definitely recommend.

The Paris Men’s Spa is immaculate. The staff is very friendly. Had a massage with Chuck. He worked on my back and neck and left feeling amazing. Highly recommend.

I am back and Chuck did an excellent job again on my massage. This is my third time. He usually focus on my legs as well (deep tissue) as I have been playing tennis a lot. I’m so happy that I never had sore legs again. Thanks!
