Squeeze Massage - Northbrook

My first time at Squeeze was a breeze! I booked a deep tissue massage with Marta. She was completely intuitive as to where I needed the most pressure. This massage was well worth the time and money. I signed up as an “Main Squeeze” member which provides an 80 minute massage once a month. The sign up was incredibly easy. I signed up the night before and showed up the next morning. Ambiance: this place is brand new and it shows in the best ways. It’s all clean and bright. It smelled amazing. You’re greeted by someone at the small front stand and showed to the back. The waiting area is in the back which I found nice. You’re not in the bright front of the store. The chairs were comfy and I didn’t have to wait long at all. The rooms themselves are minimalistic. The process: I checked in at the front and the front desk person showed me around. I sat for a few minutes waiting for my massage. There’s tea, almonds, and you can sample which aromatherapy you’d like involved in your massage. It’s complimentary, along with a massage gun. Marta greeted me and since I had filled out my preferences ahead of time she and I reviewed those. You choose which areas you’d like to avoid, focus on, and how much pressure you’d like. You have to balance the areas of pressure and are limited to 3 areas of deep pressure. This helps the massage therapist pace themselves and not burn out. Marat explained everything to me. I was able to choose which type of music I wanted and how loud. There were mints and hair ties available.l for my use. Then Marta left me to get ready. When I was ready I clicked on a light under the table. I found that a great way to start the massage as I didn’t worry if I would be ready in time. The massage itself: Marta did an incredible job with my massage. I am hypermobile and basically this leads me to being tense everywhere. Marta was quite intuitive as to where I needed the most pressure. The massage did not fly by like others I’ve had. I felt like there was a great balance to each area. Marta used techniques that I haven’t experienced in a massage before that were incredibly effective. I was happy to have relief in areas I did not expect. Marta checked in with me several times to make sure the pressure was to my liking. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. I am looking forward to booking my next massage with her again soon. Overall: I am so glad that Squeeze is in the area. I do believe the value lies in the actual massage. While I appreciate the complimentary aromatherapy and massage gun add ons I would like to see that value given in a reduced rate of additional massages per month. I would massively benefit from more massages each month, but paying the same rate for each massage is out of reach for me currently. That is the only thing that’s keeping me from saying 5 stars. However, I’m sure this is a franchise decision and not on the individual franchisees. Overall, I am so glad I chose to try Squeeze and I am looking forward to coming back. It’s an awesome addition to the Northbrook community!

A very relaxing and well-thought out experience! I selected the area that needed more attention and wrote notes that tailored the experience to me. We went over my oil preference (rosemary) and massage preferences. Would highly recommend this wonderful massage, professional from start to finish!

Great new massage place! Very clean, conveniently located, and my massage was great. The provider took time afterwards to describe the cause of my shoulder pain, and offered some tips to alleviate it in the future. Looking forward to my next visit!

Loved my first massage at Squeeze with Yolanda and will book with her again. Everything about the app was easy and intuitive. I have a current massage membership elsewhere but am considering switching to Squeeze.

They say their hours are until 10pm but they close at 9. Seems like such a great place, review-wise, surprised they know they close earlier than advertised and didnt seem to care. Wonder what else they are not up to date on. Disappointing based upon their reviews but maybe it's from friends and family. Think twice. After your response, why don't you just say hours may vary based upon demand and then clients know what to expect. Time is one of the only limited resources we have so to waste it flippantly isn't a choice I would ever make. Won't be visiting and wouldn't recommend you do either.

The entire staff is wonderful. Marta was fantastic. Such a comprehensive and thoughtful massage. Melanie at the front desk is always a pleasure. Cannot recommend squeeze Northbrook enough.

Everyone at Squeeze was very friendly and welcoming. The space is nice and clean. The whole process is very customized, from making your profile, to choosing table heat settings and aromatherapy. My massage felt great, but I realized after that my therapist ended almost 15 minutes early. The front desk compensated me with some squeeze bucks and was very apologetic. I would return and hope that the timing issue gets figured out!

This was my first ever massage, and I couldn’t be happier choosing Squeeze to provide it! From the amazing staff to their awesome and relaxing space in the salon I couldn’t have walked away any happier. Jey made me feel so relaxed, and provided and a great experience. Will be back in the new year!
