Adore Essence Massage & Spa

I decided today to find myself a place to relax and get some much needed massage therapy. After scouring the nearby places, I decided to give Adore Essence a try. I called Adore but after two rings had another call on the other line so I hung up and took the other phone call. I completely forgot to call them back and continued calling other places on my list. Here’s the part that I like the most; I received a phone call from Rachel (at the point I didn’t realize she was the owner) saying she had a missed call and if she could help me. Not only did this impress me but she even took me as a walk in as her last client of the day without a reservation. At this point I’m super excited. I arrived at my appointment time, entered the building, and was greeted by Rachel at the top of the stairs. I discussed with her my problem areas and she absolutely targeted them for the majority of the time leaving some time at the end to complete the deep tissue massage with arms/legs/neck/etc. (which was not my main priority). Everything was absolutely perfect and complete. Thorough, respectful, attentive, and loves what she does. Needless to say, that list I created to find my massage escape has been tossed. Impressed is an understatement. The vision Rachel has and has created is beautiful; everyone who is reading this now should experience what I experienced. We went in for a couples massage and it was such an amazing experience. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. They were very professional and worked on our problem areas. He immediately said we needed to come back and I completely agree. Price is not crazy either.

A very good place to get a massage. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The prices are what you would expect, not cheap but not exorbitant. An observation is that they are not always together on scheduling. They're waiting room could also use a refresh. Sometimes you will find that particular masseuses are hard to schedule with but that is usually because they are in high demand.

was able to get a last minute appointment booked for a friends birthday massage and was told the massage was a 10|10. from calling to inquire to the actual service I am happy with my experience. I also really liked how Rachel called me to verify and confirm payment details prior to proceeding with charging me to avoid any issues. thank you!

Massages are always great here at Adore Essence. Emma really took her time to ask questions and understand my needs while working around my injury. Swedish Massage is highly recommended and going to try Deep Tissue next time.

Today I had an appointment with Emma. She worked wonders for the tension I carry in my shoulder and neck. Her hands were magical. I will return in my travels and highly recommend Emma and Adore. Thank you Emma

Just had an amazing massage and facial with Sofiya! Pressure was great and the hot stone add on was beyond relaxing! The facial was great and she even gave me tips for my home care!! Can’t wait to come back for another spa day!

I came here twice and both times I had asked that the bulk of the massage be done on my back. That request was ignored by both masseuses. My first time was with Rachel. The pressure was extremely inconsistent, I was inappropriately exposed numerous times and it was very obvious she was trying to run out the clock because she kept inconsistently stretching random parts of my body over and over again. She spent maybe 20 minutes collectively on my back. The second time, I decided to schedule with Olga. This was one of the most disappointing massages I've ever had. I again asked for the massage to be focused on my back and even pointed out where I have knots. She spent about 10-15 minutes total on my back. The pressure she used was nonexistent. You would've thought she was massaging an infant with the little pressure she used. There was more pressure when she wiped off the oil with a towel than during the entire massage. Even when she stretched out my limbs, she barely put any effort in. I would've expected such an expensive massage to at least be good. Just know you will not receive your money's worth. Update: The manager accused me of using a “fake Yelp coupon” to pay, which I attached to this review. Note the coupon is for $5, the manager’s scathing response is over a measly $5 Yelp coupon. Additionally, the only reason I booked with this spa in the first place is because I was gifted a gift card worth 2 massages. I returned for a second massage to not only fully use up my gift card, but also to give this establishment the benefit of the doubt before writing them off completely. It’s really a shame how the manager has chosen to react to my review and attempt to invalidate my experience. It just goes to show how little they value customer service.
