LaVida Massage

Unfortunately I have been disappointed by this location twice now. Both times my fiance and I walked away feeling like we had barely any pressure at all. The first time we said we like normal / decent pressure and it was minimal at best. The second time we said strong pressure, and still we both felt like it was the lightest message we have had. I gave two stars due to asking both times and not having any follow through. Additionally in the second massage I had asked to focus on shoulders and arms, which she did not. Very disappointed as I was hoping due to reviews that this place would be better!

We loved Lavida massage when they here in Hanahan SC…….my husband and I were customers for a few years going regularly. But 1 day on a Sunday…..we had an appointment like we always did. Went to the door and it was locked. We asked the owners next door to Lavida Massage and they said…all day yesterday the place was buzzing, moving and carrying out looked like everything. And everything they did… however, we sure thought we would get reimbursed with the $350 in gift certificates we had. We asked for them for Christmas and our birthdays…They WERE the best…However we emailed and personally called other LaVida phone numbers hoping to get some answer as to getting a refund for our gift certificates. Sadly no. My daughter sold them on eBay for $100…. They were the best massage salon around ….Just sad they we couldn’t get a refund from them and pulled out in the dark of night…

Julianna is amazing! I look forward to my facials every month. She is so caring and listens! My daughter and Mom go to her as well! I give her a 10 out of 10. She rocks!! Highly recommended!

We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. The staff is always pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Derrick provided an exceptional massage with just the right balance of tension relief and relaxation. We’ll definitely be back!

Lisa did a great job! I had a headache coming in but after the massage I felt like I was glowing. Definitely a great massage.

I had the signature facial and added the anti-aging. My esthetician was very knowledgeable, and did a great job! I will definitely be back.

Although my massage was great, it was only 46 min long. When I asked the front desk why my 60 min massage wasn’t 60 min, they said “we only do 50 min hands on to allow for questions” when asked if I could skip question time I was told no… personally if I’m paying for a 60 min massage I want a 60 min massage, this feels like false advertising…

Highly recommend LaVida for facials and massages!!! The owner and staff are friendly, accommodating and always so courteous! The facility is relaxing and very clean. I always leave feeling so refreshed and well cared for!
