Hit or miss. I selected a hot stone massage, but received 80 minutes of the regular massage (which was fine) just on my back and around 5 minutes of the stones. I thought maybe they forgot about the stones, but was still asked to pay the full price of the massage. Be careful when you select a service, do not assume you will get what you booked or that they will address or adjust mistakes on their end.

One of the best and strongest deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. I started with a 30 min reflexology but it was so incredible I opted for a 30 min full body directly after. The rooms were cool, clean and quiet. An excellent price for the level of skill at this place. I had Jason and would definitely recommend him if you want someone extremely strong!

Best massage I ever had!!! The person who did my massage was very respectful. Can't recommend enough. I will definitely return. This place is a gem.

Great experience. My wife and I walked in for a couples massage. Clean room and massage tables. We stripped down, covered ourselves with a towel. Nice strong ladies used deep tissue on us both for full 60 minutes. It was $60 + tax for each. Plus tip. Limited English, they and us used the translator app. No issues at all, and we would go back anytime.

I visited the 80th Street location after booking an appointment online. During the booking process, I specifically chose a female therapist, as I feel more comfortable with women. However, when I arrived, there was a significant language barrier. I mentioned that I had an appointment, but no one checked their system to confirm my preferences. They led me to a room, told me to undress, and said they would start in five minutes. Since I still had a few minutes, I waited to get undressed. Then, one of the women I saw at the reception entered the room. As I began to undress, I asked if she would be the one doing the massage, but she couldn’t understand me. After repeating the question several times, she finally told me a man would do the massage. Immediately after, a male therapist opened the curtain and stared at me while I was getting undressed. The woman left, and someone else came in, at which point I reiterated my preference for a female therapist. The massage itself was decent but ended earlier than it should have. I paid for a 60-minute session, but we started around 11:05 and ended at 11:50. When I got home, the first thing I wanted to do was shower. The oil or moisturizer they used smelled like cooking oil and left my skin sticky and smelling odd. Overall, I’m unsure if I would return. I felt uncomfortable and unable to effectively communicate my needs since only one person there spoke some English.

Massage was good overall, pressure was good. My biggest complaint was that the therapist kept talking to the other therapist in Chinese a lot of the time. Also, she was on her phone a lot and would massage with just one hand. You think clients don’t notice these things but it really messes up the overall experience if you try to answer messages and multitask while giving a massage. What was a good massage turned just so so with these 2 points hence the 3 stars. This was in the 74th St location, the 80th street was more professional so I would go there.

I am so thankful! I was having awful neck and shoulders pains for 8 months when I decided to try Upper West Side massage. I had four sessions with Ben and what a difference! He is knowledgeable and an excellent professional.

Was in the neighborhood and looking to get a full body massage as my back and shoulders were pretty badly screwed up and I was in pain. The reviews looked good and it seemed reasonably priced, so decided to give it a try. - Overall, it is a no frills place, but quite clean. - The massage therapist really dug deep and the massage was really strong, which is how I typically like it. Plus today I actually needed it. Felt really good after the massage. - However, she ended the massage 5 minutes early. Just out of habit, I always make it a point to check just the timing before the massage starts every single time. Plus there was a clock in the room as well, but the front desk guy was still arguing about the timing of when the massage started. That’s the primary reason I reduced my rating. If I pay for a 60 min massage, I want a 60 min massage! It’s as simple as that. I would probably go here again but explicitly call out the start time multiple times so there’s no confusion and it should be good.
