My massage experience at A Touch Above has been wonderful. Liz takes the time to talk with you about your pain and listens to your concerns. She’s very professional and wants her clients to feel comfortable. I felt so relaxed I almost fell asleep. Her studio is lovely and very conducive to relaxation. I highly recommend Liz.

My sister gave me a massage with Liz for my birthday. I live in Cary and she was able to find Liz before me! My massage was Amazing! She spent time with me talking about my body and what issues I have been having. So knowledgeable. The 60 minute massage was so Great! She was able to relieve pain and stress in my lower back due to my Sciatica. She was point on but gentle as well. I would recommend her as a massage therapist to all. Hope to be back soon!

Excellent! I am writing this review because I am so grateful for previous reviewers. If it weren’t for them, I would not be experiencing massages with Liz. Thank you!! I was extremely nervous the first time I had a massage (first time ever—in my 50s). Liz put me at ease immediately. She is a great listener and she tailors the massage specifically for my needs. The environment is comfortable and serene. I see Liz because I have an extremely stressful job. Yes!!! It works wonders for stress and anxiety management. Liz has also greatly reduced or eliminated muscle pain or foot pain. If you are trying to find a great massage therapist who is clearly experienced, caring, and pleasant—I highly suggest you give A Touch Above a call. I’m so glad I did!!!

Liz is helping me reclaim full, pain free movement after shoulder surgery. Before coming to her office, I had almost resigned myself to “good enough” recovery. Physical therapy had helped with movement, but not the scar tissue. Liz’s deep yet sensitive work on breaking down the deep scar tissue and freeing up the myofascial tissue is a wondrous gift. She is a good listener to my concerns, a skilled practitioner and deeply attuned to what the body needs. I can now do all the things I love pain free, including strength training and gardening a large yard at age 74!

Liz is great: she has a wonderful personality for massage - great aura. Office is calming from the moment you walk in. Very good massage - myofascial is slower and slightly different than "hot stone" or "deep tissue", but invaluable none the less. Liz has multi-visit plans - everyone should get a massage once a month. Self care people! And she does dog massage, too. Lucky dogs (lol).

Liz @ A Touch Above is absolutely the best! I've been going to her for at least15 years, and without all the benefits of massage therapy, I wouldn't still be playing golf at my age. Liz keeps my back and muscles in shape to handle all the twisting, turning, and bending needed not only for golf but for just getting around without aches and pains! And besides, it feels great! Good for both the body and mind! I recommend A Touch Above without hesitation. Liz is knowledgeable, very personable, professional and excellent at both the science and technique of massage therapy.
