Albatross Bar

Drinks are good, ending the praise there. Came for karaoke on a Friday. Arrived early, put in a couple of songs, but sat for over two hours without singing.

One of my favorite queer bars in the city. It’s a homey dive bar with such a friendly crowd. Good place to chat and meet people. Drinks are strong and cheap. Great events; very community oriented. I feel so welcomed and at home here! Thank you for being absolutely lovely Albatross

This is the little bar you want in your neighborhood! My first time there, went to see drag bingo. We ll!! Friendly, amazing quality of entertainment (opera trained drag beauty belting show tunes, dancing. Finishing the night eith a complete death drop ti the floor!) Clean, pool table, accessible staff. LGBTQ friendly.

Albatross is a fantastic Queer space that offers a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere. One of the main highlights of this bar is the fantastic drag shows that take place regularly. The performers are incredibly talented and always put on a great show, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained. Moreover, the bartenders, including one of my absolute favorites, Gierre, are fantastic. They are friendly, attentive, and know how to mix a great drink. They always go above and beyond to make sure that customers are happy and having a good time. Their professionalism and expertise are truly impressive. Overall, Albatross is a great place to hang out with friends, enjoy some fantastic drinks, and be entertained by talented performers. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is fantastic, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a fun night out.

Gierre is amazing!!! Literally one of the best spots to get a GOOD BOGO happy hour in Astoria! Have events most nights that range from drag shows to paint and sip to karaoke- definitely a neighborhood staple!

Service was ok but cocktails were not good. There was also a TV show being played at ridiculous volume that made this a 1 and done stop.

This bar is a dive and I say that endearingly. Take it for what it is but the owners and staff care that you have a good time and leave happy. Staff and patrons are all incredibly friendly. The drag shows are fun and themed nights are a great time. Go here for a great queer experience without having to commit to dancing or screaming over top 40. If you’re new to the area, go here to meet your neighbors and make fast friends.

Great place with great priced drinks!! I’ve gone to the drag race viewing a couple times with my partner and the vibes have always been very friendly and easygoing. The bartenders are sweethearts and the queens are very entertaining. Would recommend.
