I came to get help from Tonya for issues with chronic intractable migraine disease. After consistent cranial sacral massage treatments, I now have higher quality baseline days with more energy, less pain, and a reduction in total attack days per month. I came to Tonya because of a recommendation from a Vision Therapist in the Nashville TN area that said I needed to go see a Craniosacral Therapist. So after setting up an appointment with Tonya at Align Murfreesboro, she & I sat down initially to discuss my vision issues. We talked about my double vision as well as my Oscillopsia problems. She & I both agreed that the Craniosacral Therapy could indeed reduce if not eliminate my vision issues. Besides being an extremely good listener as well as talking over with me not only the therapy that we would be doing, she has also given me various ‘exercises’ to do to help aide in my recovery. Although the problem with my vision does take awhile to correct (partly because I can’t visit Tonya as frequently as I should), I have to say that the therapy has been a success! We still have some work to do, but because of Tonya’s diligence & determination (not to mention professionalism), she has identified other issues that I am experiencing… one being a malfunctioning diaphragm, which can also have an impact on my vision. With just a few more sessions, I believe that all of these issues will be corrected! As far as Tonya goes, in my experience with her as well as the dignity & respect that she has shown for me personally, she is in truth, the only Craniosacral Therapist that I would ever recommend! As a bonus, she treats you as not just a patient, but as a friend as well! A true gem as a person & extremely caring as well! Her services has indeed brought a true sense of value back in my life that, for several years, has brought me down to the point of mild depression. Not anymore! I highly recommend Tonya!
