Downtown Franklin needed a speakeasy, and this place fits the bill. Highly recommend, really good drinks and good customer service. Only been here once so far, but definitely plan to come back. My friends and I all had positive experiences with our drinks, although not every drink is worth five stars, but on the whole good vibes.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out or a special celebration. The cocktail menu is a true masterpiece! Each drink is crafted with precision and creativity, using fresh ingredients and unique flavors. I highly recommend trying their signature cocktails – they’re unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere! The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to help you find the perfect drink. This purposely hidden gem is fantastic. You have to enter through an alley door behind Mellow Mushroom, find the electric box and flip the switch. Once you do that the door to the speakeasy opens and you are ushered into another place and time. It’s a small space but beautifully decorated with great inventive cocktails. It’s a unique experience in a very upscale and cool vibe.

Uniquely cool speakeasy somewhat hidden in downtown Franklin, though it has become a well known secret. The wait to get in is sometimes long but the atmosphere and drinks are worth it. Craft cocktails are the main attraction and are works of art. Beer selection is limited (two choices) and could be expanded. Food is basically sliders and snacks but are definitely tasty. I hope the food menu will increase given time, as it’s a great place to relax, mingle, drink and eat. Kudos to the crew who brought this place to life!

I had a global group of coworkers from around the world visit nationals for the first time and I knew I had to take them to a speakeasy! Booking a group was great, I thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff, and we were so well accommodated with cultural dietary restrictions. We got to visit on a singer songwriter night and love the atmosphere as well as the drink. Dean and Elliot took such good care of us!

Came with my dad and we both loved it! Took a while to find because it was so tucked away, but it just felt even more private, like a little personal secret. Drinks were great, and staff was very friendly. I wonder if they're hiring...

I really wanted to love this place. Our first two visits were great. On the third, try we took friends and the music was so loud we had to leave before we finished our drinks. I asked the person.running the sound to turn it down and he said he would, but didn’t. Live music is great, but country music in this setting doesn’t fit with the vibe. Service and cocktails are great - if you can stay in the room with the sound. They are really close to having this nailed, but now I know why none of our friends will go back.

Super disappointing first experience at last night at Amendment XVII. The bartender was so off putting, rude, and cold. She spilled some of my first drink all over bar right in front of me, did not apologize or clean the bar off. After the sticky liquid continued to get everywhere, I asked for a napkin. In response, she sat her cloth work rag in front of me. So I cleaned it up myself. INTERESTING. The same thing happened again due to her bar mats being so full of liquid from constantly spilling the drinks when she poured them, that I had to ask for napkins again because it was about to start leaking over the edge of the bar into my lap. Once again, she just sat her rag down right in front of me without apologizing or saying a word. She definitely wasn’t cleaning anything up herself. What is more shocking about this experience is my friend and I both work in the service industry and expressed to her that we understand this is a very busy time of year, trying to be empathetic. She didn’t care at all, and it obviously didn’t help her attitude towards us (although I’m not sure what we did to deserve that type of service). Everyone has bad/stressful days, but at the end of the day it takes very little effort to act like you care for a few minutes while you are speaking to your guests, especially if you are expecting to get TIPPED based off of your service. Also, I can’t imagine being a bartender and not offering to wipe the bar counter down after YOU spill their drink or when you can see with your own eyes liquid running across the bar. Very unprofessional. Do you all really not have napkins behind the bar? Or does everyone have to use the restaurants cloth rags? I never actually received a napkin… very strange. Imagine if I needed a napkin to wipe my mouth off, would you give a guest a restaurant rag for that, too? The place itself is cute and has potential. The drinks weren’t great and were pricey; but the bartender who was making mine didn’t seem to care about what she was doing. If you are in the Franklin area, this is NOT the first place I would go to get a drink. Very unpleasant experience.
