I've had massages before but never body work. There is a difference. Hakim is an intuitive healer. He's very kind and easy to talk to as well as knowledgeable and professional. I can tell this is a work of the heart for him. I left with my body feeling 10 years younger and my spirit feeling so free and light. Being pain free is an amazing feeling. Highly recommended because he deserves it, only I'm worried if everyone knew, there wouldn't be enough appointments for all of us.

This was my first massage outside of the typical spa setting and it was the best experience I've had thus far. Hakim took the time to address my personal needs and tailor the massage to that. I left feeling not only refreshed, but aware of the areas I needed to work on. This was such a restorative experience both mentally and physically and I will definitely be back! Most of my family has now gone to see him and we all have loved our sessions.

My experience with Hakim has been remarkable. He carries a quiet but loving presence, gentle yet firm, and all he does comes from the heart. The massage experience is delicious - an hour sped by almost unnoticed, I was in such a peaceful space, and his healing energy and presence was deeply soothing for body and soul.

Hakim offers such a warm, intuitive experience. I walk away feeling refreshed and cared for, feelings one doesn't regularly get in normal life. I'm honestly loathe to recommend him too highly, lest all his appointments get nabbed. But, if you want to feel like you've been seen and soothed, Hakim is your person. Just don't take my spot.

I am deeply grateful for Hakim's practice and the care he puts toward the body. He has an innate ability of listening to the body that is equally matched by knowledge. As a young woman I tend to lean towards female practitioners but working with Hakim has opened my mind. He created an atmosphere of ease, safety, and comfort that allowed me to feel completely taken care of before, during, and after receiving body work. I left feeling aligned, rejuvenated, and cared for. Hakim is a truly gifted healer with the utmost respect for his practice. Hakim has a magic touch, a gentle character, and great sensitivity to my needs and experiences. I cannot recommend his gift highly enough. Specifically, recently before my massage with Hakim, I had endured a traumatic trigger point treatment of my hip flexor muscle group which left me in pain and feeling vulnerable. He was precisely as tender as I needed him to be while still effectively working on the area, restoring me to greater comfort and reinvigorating my energy flow in my hips. He integrated various modalities, namely myofascial release and attention to posture, to treat me not only on the spot, but to help me to help myself. I very much look forward to my next treatment with him, for which I will travel 2 hours!

Hakim is amazing! He is so warm and inviting, and the massage is absolutely wonderful… great pressure and I always feel so much more relaxed and loose after a session with him.

Hakim is a very intuitive massage therapist. I've seen a lot of LMTs in the area and always end up disappointed. With most therapists it's like their mind is somewhere else -- but with Hakim I feel like he is totally present. I highly recommend Amherst Massage Therapy.
