This was an average dinner! Service was solid and attentive, but the food was just okay. The pimento deviled eggs were nothing special and wouldn’t order again. The short rib ravioli was also okay but on the bland side. My companion said this wasn’t their favorite cacio e Pepe either. No big complaints but nothing worth returning for.

The food quality has gone downhill so badly... my family and I have been in the neighborhood for many years and supported this place over the years, but at this point it feels like charity. Menu has been slashed down to nothing, and what they still do offer is bland and tasteless. Unseasoned shrimp, sauces taste like from a jar... I miss the beloved Angelo's we used to frequent.

The service was so fantastic, but the food was very mid and very expensive for the quality. The fettuccine was clearly grocery store low end pasta and some sauce from a jar and very close to $20. Also, giving low marks for the ambiance because the music was absolutely horrible I’m talking the Rick Roll song and similar ones at pretty high volume. I also do not eat meat though, so maybe the meat offerings are better and I did not try the pizza. Love a queer friendly and run location, but the menu needs work.

Very comfortable atmosphere. The bar is lit up red the lights are down low and black&white movies are playing on the big screens and yes there is music very good music too! Servers are pleasant and hospitable, the food is appetizingly great! And don't forget Dessert... The Chocolate Fudge cake... oh so chocolatey!!

I just moved into the neighborhood and my partner and I decided to check this place out on a whim and I am so glad we did, because i will be coming here weekly from now on! it didn’t hurt that we walked in on a wednesday, which is when they do half price bottles! I haven’t had service this good in years, and the food exceeded expectations! Gigi, the sommelier was serving us and checked in very often, recommended a great bottle for us as we aren’t typically wine drinkers, and was just so kind and cool! She really made the experience for us, but we also loved the food! We had the calamari, spring salad, and three olive pizza and loved all of it. Everything was seasoned perfectly, you can tell the chef actually tastes their own food, lol. I also thought the prices were very reasonable. All of that food and a bottle of wine came out to about $70. I can’t wait to come back and try more food. Lastly - there was a great live band playing the night we came in, and there are tons of great seating options. What a great welcome to the neighborhood ❤️

Perfect date night spot! Nice lighting/ambience and you could tell everyone there was having a good time. They also had old black-and-white films playing on the screens which was a cute touch. Service was great - perfect level of attention while still feeling like we could take our time. We loved the stuffed mushrooms and all the wine we drank. Entree-wise I definitely think I'll go for pizza next time around. The pasta we got was pretty good but didn't hold a candle to some other places in the city and the pizza options looked incredible. Dessert might've been the highlight - we got tiramisu and the lemon layer cake and I'm not sure I could pick a favorite.

We just moved to the neighborhood and have heard amazing things about Angelo’s so we decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable our server was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food and drinks were high quality as well! We went on a Friday evening and the vibe wasn’t crowded so service was quick. We would definitely be coming back with the family soon!

Best charcuterie board/presentation that I’ve tried hands down I would definitely get this again. I was surprised that they even added 2 pieces of pizza soooo now I know the pizza is bomb too lol! Stuffed mushrooms omgggg very juicy and tasty - smelled amazing and it was perfectly paired with arugula ✨ Service was great! I did get a 1/2 glass of Chardonnay… but the portion was disappointing. Not 1/2 in comparison to other places. BUT I did have a cocktail which made up for it
