Indoors only - dog friendly tavern that encourages patrons to try the infamous Malort. Jeopardy was on at 4 pm and everyone participated! Bordering Ukrainian village this gemstone is to be sought after! It is a neighborhood tavern not a fancy place and the bartender is versatile !

I had had a poor experience with one of the regulars at this bar, to the point that I didn't have the desire to return. I recently had a chance to speak to the owner of this bar, and I am really glad we had a chance to speak. When I tell you I have never experienced such genuine warmth and empathy, I am not speaking to flatter. She provided a listening ear and she validated my emotions. Not to mention - she makes a mean G&T. This bar has been a staple of Humboldt for 80 years, and they're obviously doing something right to have been around that long. Come here for a delicious and perfectly priced beverage, and make sure to stay for the charm and wonder that the finest bar in Chicago has to offer. You won't want to miss a second of it, I promise!

Dog friendly! But feels small with more than 2 dogs in there. U can get some chips/popcorn-type snacks. 4 to 7pm $2 hamms, great deal.

Quirky and friendly neighborhood watering hole with pool table and relaxed vibe ala Tumans circa 2002. Nice place for on a budget. No food but can bring or order in. Many handshake specials.

Super cheap beers but there are like 5 dogs barking and running around without a leache. Smells like hotdogs but I like hotdogs....weird....dive atmosphere where everyone seems to know everyone...2 children under 5 here so again...weird...

This place is a great local watering hole. I wouldn't come here looking for a classy cocktail bar - it's ideal for cheap drinks and conversation. The space isn't very large, but the space wasn't crowded. I had a great time - six bucks for a beer and a shot

Great neighborhood dive bar, super relaxed friendly atmosphere. Free cheesy poofs, pool table, and dogs allowed. They have cool shirts for sale styled after the Hamm's beer logo. Good selection of package good to take home at the end of the night.

I've lived close by for over a year and just never ventured inside until this last weekend for the earth day clean up, and I am so disappointed I didn't go sooner. This is the kind of place that cares about the community, organizing volunteer events and offering a gathering place. They are pup friendly most of time. Only when it gets too crowded do they ask for 2 legs only, and get involved with local rescues to do...MORE VOLUNTEER/FUNDRAISING EVENTS! Check them out of favebook, seriously fantastic. Day to day this is just a low key chill bar that's wants you to come hangout, play games, play pool and drink at affordable prices.
