Asheville Massage and Wellness

This was my first visit to Asheville Wellness and Massage but it won't be my last. William was extremely attentive he asked lots of questions before proceeding with the massage. He checked in with me during the massage to make sure the pressure he was using was comfortable. The massage room was very comfortable, if you don't have a regular massage therapist check out Asheville Wellness and Massage you won't be disappointed.

I had a massage from Carmen at a retreat I went on and it was an amazing massage. Not only did she listen in regards to the pressure I prefer but she checked in throughout and made me feel so comfortable to communicate about what felt good and what didn’t. It was not painful, yet I could feel things loosening and relaxing. Highly recommend Carmen!

Had some lower back tension and benefited greatly from William’s excellent massage. So pleased with the service that I signed up for one a month through March of 2025, because: 69 years old + whitewater kayaking & rock climbing = tight back. A wonderful resource right here in N Asheville. I have come to Asheville Massage and Wellness to deal with shoulder problems from a lifetime of kayaking and rock climbing. William's excellent and healing massage is an important part of my treatment regimen, and I'm returning to the rivers and cliffs soon. Very much appreciated.

Do not waste your money booking with Carmen. Not only did she go unbelievably rough after I asked her to ease the pressure, when I called back after 3 days of my neck and shoulders being so stiff I couldn’t move them, she implied that it was my fault and that I had fibromyalgia or something. She was extremely rude and refused to accept any responsibility. For the love of god save your money as it would be cheaper to have a random person on the street assault you and I guarantee it’d feel the exact same.

The facility is wonderful and I could not have been made to feel more welcome and relaxed. Carmen asked all the right questions to make sure I was satisfied. Her skin care and massage treatments were excellent ... I will be back.

The esthetician called and canceled my massage appointment and refused to reschedule me, then practically hung up on me! I will also add that I previously had a facial here that was honestly the worst facial I’ve ever had in my life. She was late, wore ill fitted gloves for the entire facial, and literally put me in an ice cold room putting ice cold products on my face, and continuously tried to sell me products while doing the facial. It was truly something that I’ve never experienced before, anywhere. I bought a Groupon for a massage with the man that works here at the same time I purchased the facial, so I was going back regardless of my poor experience with the esthetician. She REDEEMED my Groupon for the massage appointment she canceled a day before the appointment. I have reported it to Groupon. I was hopeful that the massage would make up for the awful facial but I wouldn’t trust this place to provide ANY service at this point. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional.

I walked in as a little ball of stress and walked out a completely different person. My massage was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Will was awesome, checked in multiple times to see how I was feeling, made sure to prioritize the places I needed work on. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Asheville!

Book with WILLIAM, he's an amazing therapist and you will be so glad you did. Backpacked for 5 days and he opened knotted muscles, relieved spinal compression, stripped fatigued tendons in my "hikers" feet, melted muscle aches and sent me home so relaxed I was amazed. THANK YOU WILLIAM!!!
