Gina at Assuage is amazing and made me feel very comfortable in this COVID environment. The suite is cozy, beautifully appointed and sanitized after each client. The music is just as relaxing as the heated massage table and the eucalyptus aromatherapy. Gina wears a mask, shield and gloves during the entire massage. Clients are also required to wear a mask. The 90 minute massage itself was seriously the best I’ve ever had. I work a stressful job that results in muscle spasms and multiple knots. Gina’s magic hands located each knot and was able to dissolved them all with firm pressure that I requested. Gina also incorporates stretching which makes me feel like I’ve had a yoga session as well. This was also my first cupping session...I’ll definitely do that again!! Gina’s service extends beyond the massage as she reaches out to see how I’m feeling 24 hours after my massage. I’ve never had a massage therapist do that! I highly recommend Gina at Assuage for your next massage.

I called Assuage to schedule a massage as a pampering gift for my birthday and to workout a nagging ache in my shoulder. Gina called me back the same day to schedule the appointment. This was my first time having a massage at Assuage and when I arrived (she's located inside Mon Ami' Salon) she greeted me with a warm smile and asked me to fill-out some paperwork. Gina was very good with customizing the massage so she could target the areas that had aches and pain. She is a good listener and very attentive to her customers needs. At the end of the session she used the suction cups on my aching shoulder. She explained that the cupping applies a deep pressure to help alleviate aches and pain. This was an strange feeling from a massage perspective but Gina asked me how the pressure felt. In the future I will forgo the cupping because my back was actually very sore the next day and it left the circle marks on my back for 3 days. Overall this was a good first time experience, however, there were a couple of things I didn't care for. The first is Gina uses latex gloves when giving her massages, initially this bothered me having plastic gloves being rubbed on my skin when I'm use to smooth, soft, and warm hands. Secondly, she asked me to prepay for the massage and said she has a 24 hour cancellation policy, so when you prepay and cancel after 24 hours of your appointment will loose your money.

Gina's work at Assuage is amazing! She masters every aspect personal services. The salon was immaculately clean and inviting. The session was perfectly tailored to my personal needs, which can only be achieved by someone who is an active listener and passionate about the work. I didnt feel like I was on a timed session, because nothing felt rushed! I can't explain the relief I felt following my massage. The services are quality and worth every minute and penny. I've been seeing Gina for quite some time and I can honestly say she has helped me so much in recovering with my knee pain. I see her every 2 weeks and she never dissappapints, she's very kind and professional. I've been getting cupping lately and I can definitely tell it has helped with my knee pain. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends. Really appreciate the work she does.

Great experience. Gina is awesome very friendly and inviting. I felt great the next morning with no stiffness. I would highly recommend this place of business. This was a birthday gift to myself and it was satisfying. You must treat yourself to one of her massages.

This was an incredible experience. I went in due to serious hip and lower back pain. I needed a massage that would do more than simple relaxation. Did it ever! She was amazing, knowledgeable and very good. She asked how much pressure and I said firm. She brought firm! If you prefer less pressure, she is happy to oblige. She not only attended to my injury and pain but found spots where I held a lot of tension due to compensating for the injury and she fixed them too. I believe my specific issue will need more than one visit. But whether you have a chronic issue or just need to destress, this place is incredible.
