Atlas Cocktail Bar

A chic cocktail bar. The crowd here is typically older and from the times I’ve been there didn’t have a huge student presence. It is a smaller place but we’ve never had too much trouble getting a table. I would avoid going with too big a group if you’re looking for seating. It’s always comfortably busy on the weekends. I love the decor and their menu! They have little descriptions about the legends/history of the drinks which is a cute touch.

My sister and I have been to Atlas twice and have loved it both times. The cocktails are fantastic, the cake surpassed our expectations, and the staff we interacted with were efficient and skillful! This is our new go to place for nice cocktails and we can’t recommend it enough!

Perfect chill cocktail bar to hang out with friends! We went on a Tuesday after dinner, and this spot was perfect to catch up with a friend and hang out for a couple hours. Really beautifully decorated, and the drinks were awesome. Best Paloma I’ve had, and the bartender was SUPER kind and knowledgeable about the wines! Will definitely be back!!

Great place for a historically accurate classic cocktail!! William is an impressively knowledgeable bar tender. The atmosphere is very on point and the rotating menus and house options are excellent. High quality spirits and strong drinks make this a great option for the cocktail afficionado!

After an exhaustive investigationary period, I have come to the conclusion that Atlas is the best cocktail bar in the Chapelboro area. Everyone who works behind the bar is extremely talented. The decor is very smart as well. It is my favorite place to take a date for a drink. A nice jazz trio in there every now and then would be a nice addition.

We love coming to Atlas! My fiancé and I come to Atlas at least twice a month. The cocktails are amazing, flavorful, and so thoughtful. There is truly something for everyone. The cocktail list changes regularly as well. We always look forward to coming to Atlas and it’s somewhere we go on both date nights and a place we bring our friends and family when they are in town visiting. My parents love coming here as well! We have attended several of the wine tasting events at Atlas and they are always well done and run smoothly. The outdoor patio has undergone some recent updates and we love the new tables. They are large enough that we bring board games and have plenty of room to play. I highly recommend you check out Atlas and it’s well located to stop in for a drink before or after dinner at many of the nearby restaurants.

It'd be cool to see more of a liquor selection for some things (I was looking for a purple peaberry-type gin for my French 75, there are multiple NC options available), but the overall atmosphere of the place and the drinks were excellent. A couple local draft choices if you're not looking for cocktails, as well.
