I’ve started running more seriously this year and credit my monthly sessions with Ryan as a large part of the reason I have been injury free the entire time. I have been getting medical massages and normal massages for about 15 years because of how bad of shape my back was in. When getting these massages, my pain range daily was still a 7 to a 10. My back pain was so bad it affected my daily activities and work performance. I was still walking bent over most of the time because of how bad the back pain was. I was about to give up on medical massages and generally massages all together. I decided to do research one more time in a last attempt to find a true medical massage therapist. I came upon Atlas Sports and Medical Massage , where I met medical massages therapist Ryan Mortimer. I have been getting medical massages for the last couple months from Ryan. In the first session, Ryan was very thorough in his questioning to identify where my back pain was and how it was hindering me. Before every session after the first one, Ryan asks questions as well as observes my body mechanics to determine what needs to be done in each session to decrease my back pain and give me a better quality of life. Ryan has introduced the cupping technique during my medical massages. My daily back pain has gone from intolerable to manageable. My daily activities such as golf and bowling along with what is expected of me work performance wise are no longer hindered. I am also no longer in crippling pain when walking, sitting or lying down. My back spasms have drastically lessened keeping my back from totally going out. I highly recommend Ryan, as well as Atlas Sports and Medical Massage to anyone who wants a real medical massage therapist that can help manage if not get rid of your daily pain.

Ryan helped me prepare for an ultramarathon through stretching and massage, then helped me recover after the race doing the same. Super attentive, professional, and clearly dedicated to his craft. Highly recommend!

I had my first therapeutic massage with Ryan earlier today and let’s just say I immediately booked another appointment with him as soon as our session finished. I was a little nervous going in because I only ever done relaxation massages but I’ve been dealing with hip pain for weeks. Ryan immediately made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job at explaining everything to me. Best of all, my hip already feels so much better.

Ryan is great and very personable. He makes sure that the massage is custom tailored to your needs, and let's you know what will be happening, what kind of massage and where, how it helps/works, etc. I have debilitating chronic nerve pain, and Atlas Massage has helped me greatly and is my new go to when my pain becomes unbearable. When I told Ryan that I was happy to get a few days of relief from the massage, he expressed his concern and said he wanted to make sure I am getting more relief than that and changed his technique. Overall, I am very happy with my experience at Atlas and will continue to return

Ryan is definitely the best. My husband has been to quite a few massage therapist and has never found anyone that truly cares or has the knowledge to help him like Ryan does. So blessed to have found him will be a forever client.

I've had multiple massages at Atlas by Ryan and have felt so much relief after each. I've had trigger point massages and cupping and both are excellent. Chain store massages are a waste of money. If need pain relief this is the place to go
