Cheap drinks. Performers with lots of experience! But make a reservation. Cash only! We had booked a table in advance, anticipating watching a drag show. The show featured performers with lots of drag experience! It was fun 🙂 The drinks were very cheap as I mentioned.

Wanted to check out this place since seems to be a SF institution. Walked in after walking 25 minutes in the cold and was told I’ve had enough to drink. I thought he was joking at first! Atmosphere was dead anyway, just wanted to support these kind of places but guess not. If you’re not a regularly or bitter don’t bother.

Love coming to see Jose he makes the best drinks and hanging out with my boy Anthony

The cutest (my opinion) and oldest (as stated by all of the locals) drag bar in all of SF. The drink specials are cheap and the locals are friendly. Come out on one of their special days (Fridays and Saturdays) for drag!

Aunt Charlie's is great! We're from out of state, but everyone present was so friendly and gregarious towards us that we immediately felt right at home. We were also very, very fortunate to swing by just in time for a charity drag show raising funds for the ACLU Drag Defense Fund, which was an amazing cause and wound up with us spending more money here than anywhere else during our trip! It's a very cozy vibe, and both the staff and regulars go far out of their way to make sure everyone feels safe and welcome. At one point a very sweet woman named Faun came by to check in on us and to assure us this was a safe place and that they wouldn't tolerating us being made to feel otherwise. An absolutely wonderful experience, one which will definitely be a motivator to come back to the bay area as soon as we can!

Walked from my hotel because it was the closest gay bar to me. Walk was easy and lots of police presence. The bar itself feels like a VFW bar and that makes sense as it’s run by a veteran. The guys were naturally friendly and it was super low key. Sounded like a boombox playing eclectic music that many sang along with often. I came on a random Wednesday, early in the evening so no parties or drag queens. I had two very strong, cheap drinks and some great conversations so I wouldn’t say anything bad about the place. It is what it is and I’m not mad about it lol

I truly enjoy the camaraderie, the drink prices, and the shows are priceless.

Best place, best people. Show was amazing, pours were heavy and it’s the most eclectic, fun place you’ll go.
