All therapists are well trained, experienced and professional. The spa gets my senses when I first enter to the spa at peace - hygienic and great atmosphere. The representative staff is overwhelmed and friendly. Highly recommend for Authentic professional Thai massage and combination massage - Thai and deep tissue. Highly recommend spectacular Banyan Tree Thai spa in New York City

Always an amazing massage. I have come here a number of times and I usually get the signature combination massage which is a combination of deep issue and traditional Thai massage. This time I had Freya. She was terrific (as it has been with others as well).

Solidly okay. I stepped in here mostly for the a/c and a nap. I think they specialize in Thai massage and I’m the dummy that chose deep tissue instead. My masseuse seemed more expert with her forearms and body weight than with her hands. Btw, I’ve been to many Thai massages in Thailand and it’s just not a modality I prefer. The space was lovely, I got a whole room with walls and a door so my $150+ went towards that I guess. I won’t return but if you’re into Thai massage I think they were actually Thai (!).

I got the signature massage a combination of Thai and deep tissue for 90 mins. My therapist was Cara who was amazing ! The facility is clean and the staff were all hospitable . Definitely a must if you’re looking for a great massage!

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this massage clinic. Despite informing the masseuse of my multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis and explicitly requesting that no massage techniques be performed on my head, my instructions were ignored. The masseuse performed a karate chop on my head with substantial pressure, which caused significant distress and exacerbated my symptoms. I spent $307 for this session, which was completely unjustified given the aftermath and the blatant disregard for my explicit request. When I reached out to the clinic for a refund, they dismissed my concerns, claiming that no spa could guarantee satisfaction and remain in business. This response completely ignores the fact that my issue was not about general dissatisfaction but about their negligence and failure to follow explicit medical instructions. Their lack of professionalism and empathy is shocking. As a professional in the photography business, I know that client satisfaction is paramount. Ignoring a client's explicit instructions, especially when related to a medical condition, is unacceptable. Their excuse is absurd and insulting, and their refusal to take responsibility is deeply frustrating. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, especially those with specific health needs.

Lovely hidden spa amongst the chaos of Penn Station. Excellent massage - I got the signature combination (Thai + deep tissue). Note - they don’t give you pajamas like some Thai massage places do.

Won my massage from an instagram giveaway for full disclosure. Staff were all very friendly. Never had a Thai massage before and was so pleasantly surprised. A nice mixture of stretching with massaging. Felt so relaxed! And my masseuse was so lovely, checking in with me to make sure the pressure was right for me and that I was comfortable. Will be back for sure and definitely booking my wife a massage here.

A friend and I were visiting NYC and decided to make a massage appointment last minute. Banyan was able to accommodate us within a couple of hours. The establishment was clean and staff were extremely friendly! The massage itself was a 10/10 and I would definitely go back when visiting since I’m there often. Highly recommend!
