Amanda was fantastic! She did the most thorough consultation I’ve had for a massage, and asked detailed questions about how things were doing ahead of time. The massage was just wonderful, and she spent time focusing on the areas I needed most while also giving a general flush of other areas. She seemed to be very tuned into what she found in my muscles, rather than just ‘rinsing and repeating’ with a general flow. She was incredibly professional and I will be booking again!

This was my first massage ever, and it was exactly what i hoped for. Amanda was great at making me feel comfortable and answering any questions i had during the consultation. The massage itself was exactly what i needed. I am in significantly less pain than before i saw Amanda. She was able to really get into the muscles that needed attention and she was even able to get into some trigger points in my jaw, which is huge for me since i suffer from TMJ. I am sore today in the best way possible! I will 100% be coming to Bayou & Bay Massage for all of my massage needs from here on out.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and it was definitely worth it. Amanda is very knowledgeable and has a great technical understanding of all the muscle groups but was still able to clearly explain to me what she was going to work on. She was highly personable and kept my comfort her highest priority while also relieving tension I didn't know I had! Will definitely recommend.

One of the best massages I've ever had. She was very personable and asked more than your general questions to really hone in on what my body needed. Easy to schedule online. Location was a little tricky to find but her instructions were clear and now I know where to go. The set up was very cute, clean, and comfortable. I already booked my next session, it was that good of an experience. She's amazing - 10/10 recommend!

First time going to Bayou & Bay Massage and I will certainly be back. Amanda did an extensive interview with me prior to the massage and we discussed everything that was hurting me. She focused on all those areas and dug in deep to release all the trigger points causing my pain. She’s very strong! Her office space and massage room were both so very comfortable and inviting. I’ve had a lot of massages at various places and Amanda by far is the BEST! Her prices are very comparable to service received. Very pleased with the whole experience!

Amanda was fantastic. I have had many massages from therapists who specialize in various techniques and Amanda definitely stands out, not only because of her caring and professional nature, but her skill is top notch. She really listened to my needs and made my therapeutic hybrid deep tissue/ Swedish massage the best massage experience I've had the last few years. I felt very comfortable in her suite, it was very relaxing with the water sounds and the music. She took the time to have a thorough consultation prior to the massage which helped me achieve my expectations/goals of the treatment. My back was in a lot of pain before I went but I did not want to do deep tissue that was going to be painful for 60 mins, so it was nice that she added relaxing aspects to help my body find relief after intense moments. She also kindly took the time to help me identify some stretches that would help with my back. I highly recommend her and have already recommended her to my friend!

Amanda is thoroughly professional and thoughtful. I could blather on, but a few points: I am a massage therapist who rarely makes time to receive and she intuitively went for the high traffic zones with MFR in the triceps and along the scapula. I love the treatment space. it is personal, artful and inviting. We encountered a tornado warning just as we began legs and feet. I cannot wait to return.
