10/10! Best bar we went to during our trip. The bar tender and all the regulars were so friendly and the drinks were great! Highly recommend the mezcal mule. Amazing art covers all the walls so lots to look at. Individual gender neutral washrooms

The food was good overall but truly nothing to write home about. I could have made every single vegetarian option on the menu at home for a fraction of the price. I cannot speak for their meat based food, but I feel I overpaid for what I got. Not to mention the inconvenience of being cash only. The folks who worked there were amazing and so were the vibes so they earned a star for that.

Love Michelle and her staff. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Janada and Daniel are always amazing. Came for July 4 grub. The Cobb salad is a beast. Husband had Big Chick burger. We shared the amazing onion rings.

My wife & I ordered the garlic parmesan fries & a drink (we forgot the name), but both were delicious. The drink was quite strong but tasty, that’s a win! Cute gay bar with friendly service. We loved the vibes & would definitely come again!

The tuna melt on rye was excellent and the sweet potato fries are great with the chipotle mayo. Steak is lovely. Service is fast and friendly. Of course we went on a Friday not the weekend. I really love the complimentary brunch bread, too. Most of all, it’s great to support a queer owned business with so much history. Great brunch and lunch spot!

I used to be a 2x/week regular here for many many years, but I finally gave it up about 10 years ago due to the consistently terrible service, negative vibes, and noon-attentive service from the bar staff. I even wrote Michelle a nice letter about it, and her response was basically that if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere (which I did). A month ago my niece visited and since she had dietary restrictions we came here later in the evening. What a pleasant surprise. The staff (TJ and Janetta) were positive, asked me my name, chatted for a bit, and didn't mess up my super easy drink order which old staff consistently messed up. I've been back twice since (but only Wednesdays when that staff works). The bison burger is 5 stars. The regular burger was very good, but the chicken tenders were over breaded and very hard (4 stars for both). Portions are large, which makes their menu a pretty good deal. I'll be back occasionally on Wednesdays.

You know those places that you're glad you live walking distance to because the staff learned your name and the drinks are good and strong? That's Big Chicks. We come in all the time and love this spot. Great drink menu with tons of options. Great dirty martinis and bloody marys! Even better staff and bartenders. Very warm, friendly, and fun! Also the food is very good for late night bites.

Loved this place!! Lots of indoor seating with amazing wall art. Cute little outdoor patio area. They have fun cocktails and lots of food options. Recommend the salads, fries, and chicken tenders 🙂 paid parking and street parking nearby, super walkable area.
