Billy's Inn

Trying this place for my first time, I was pretty disappointed in the food unfortunately. My burger came out wrong and all of the food was seriously lacking flavor. I ordered the bacon & cheese stuffed burger but unfortunately they gave me a regular burger, which I ended up eating. That was the first disappointment. The burger had one slice of cheese and 2 pieces of bacon that didn't have much of a flavor, the burger overall was seriously lacking flavor. One slice of cheese on a burger that thick is not enough. The burger wasn't seasoned, the whole thing was flavorless. On top of that the waitress did not correct the price when I told them of the discrepancy, nor did they ask to fix the incorrect food. I was excited seeing shoestring fries, but unfortunately they were lacking as well. The fries weren't crispy and just room temp. We also had the slow roasted pork torta, it was alright. The guacamole was good, the pork seemed to be lacking some flavor, as it took time to actually tatse it. The jus that came with it had a kick to it. The tortilla chips are flour and have been salted. The salsa was average. Service was seriously lacking, with just one person for wait staff. They never came around to ask about food or anything. We had to flag them down. Beyond that the interior is nice and it seems like a nice little spot. I wish I had a better experience.

Been coming to Billy’s for a long time. Great North-side spot. We love coming here before games to grab some cocktails and food. Happy hour specials are awesome. Great selection of Tequilas. My bf and I have tried a variety of items. We love the carne asada fries. Also recommend the burgers, queso fundido, the birria tacos and the chile de arbol half roasted chicken.

I have been here twice and it's the perfect little/cozy joint to grab a margarita and some Latin infused food. We always sit at the bar for the full bar/bartender interaction experience. They have an excellent selection of tequilas and the vibe is chill. I will probably be back when in Denver. I wish google would allow us to add 4 1/2 star ratings because for me this place falls somewhere in the middle of a 4 and a 5.

Pretty cool place. They were super busy. The wait staff was on top of it, even a lil pushy for my taste. But overall it was a good experience. My Mom and I had dinner. She had the quesadilla (it looked and was horrible We don't recommend that one.) guacamole bacon burger with fries and it was pretty good. The description did not however let you know that the bacon they put on the burger is pepper bacon which I do not like or care for. The fries were nice and crispy.

Always - the shrimp - yes, you have to peel and they have a dressing that makes them as delightful as any anywhere I’ve had shrimp. This is a “local” and is a friendly place no blasting “music “ but filled with the happy noise of people talking. Good IPA’s - as well.

Great spot for casual Mexican food and drinks. It's a nice place and the service is friendly. However, I can't in good conscience give them 5 stars. They charge a 6% extra fee on every bill to pay their staff a living wage. It would be better if they simply paid their staff a living wage without charging customers extra fees to do so.

Billy's Inn is everything a great neighborhood bar and grill should aspire to. The food is good, fairly priced and consistent. The menu has lots of great choices. The drinks are on point with a big tequila selection and great margaritas. There is also a happy hour that is incredible value (always get the green chile cheese fries on HH!) The service is always kind, even though it can get busy, and it is kid friendly with a great kids meal that even includes a little ice cream for dessert. The vibe is old school North Side Denver- you can feel the history, and there are cool historic photos of the bar from yesteryear near and in the bathrooms. A go to spot for my family and I, and for grabbing a drink and a bite to eat with friends.

What a ridiculous experience for what looks like a dive bar - mainly cause it is a dive bar with ridiculous food. Chips and salsa - super fresh and tasty Wings - outstanding, some of the best I've ever had Chicken nugget basket - high praise Birria tacos - amazing California Burrito Plate - out of this world; I mean there is carne asada and fries INSIDE the burrito (among other fresh ingredients) that is then smothered in green chile and crema. Oh, and the burrito is the size of my torso. I thought it was one of those challenges where if I ate the whole thing, I would get a picture on the wall and a t-shirt. Nope, it's just huge. And next level on taste. The green chile is really well done! It was our first time at Billy's and the GM gave us 2 business cards for free margaritas on our next visit - which will be soon! Great food and atmosphere! Staff is awesome as well.
