I found Birchwood Bodywork when I was 8 months pregnant, searching for a place that specialized in Prenatal massages in the Madison area. I’m so happy I booked an appointment! I have also experienced the hot stone therapy. Both were great!! Connie greats you warmly, asks what the area of focus will be and then does a foot soak to get you relaxed. The next steps are explained, you are made to feel comfortable, and both times I wish I could have fallen asleep afterwards! Great practice. Great person. I highly recommend!

Birchwood bodywork is amazing! The spa- like atmosphere is so relaxing, Connie really knows what she’s doing and what your body needs. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and comfortable. I was nervous going to a new place for the first time but left feeling so refreshed and excited for my next appointment. She is knowledgeable and it’s obvious she truly cares.

Connie was excellent and very accommodating and listened to my questions and answered them with a lot of knowledge. Ambience was very relaxing and calming. The Swedish massage was great and my back and neck felt wonderful after and still 24 hrs after massage. Highly recommend.

Connie is phenomenal!! I adore all the included ‘extras’ like the starting foot bath and scrub with a warm neck roll, hot towels throughout treatment, and the treat at the end! I won’t spoil it for you she does many modalities and pressures, and I personally prefer a firm therapeutic pressure - she is the first therapist in Madison that truly delivers that for me! I cannot recommend this massage therapist and body worker highly enough. Book an appointment!! Your body and mind will thank you, I guarantee it!
