Black Hart of Saint Paul

Was told this was a good place to go. So we went to see a drag show with a friend. Ordered a pizza because we were hungry after work. I paid for the pizza plus tip. We waited and waited, but still no pizza. My friend got their food. We waited some more and then went to ask about it. We were told it was in the oven. More time passes, and now the kitchen is closed. They said they "forgot to put it in." We asked for a refund and was told the card I paid with "couldn't be found," yet they definitely charged me. I feel robbed. Will not be returning.

I love this place. It's my favorite sapphic space in the Twin Cities. The vibes are immaculate. The shows are always wonderful. The drinks, food and service are great. Getting there is easy. It's right on the green line light rail if you are using public transportation and the parking is good if you drive there.

Everyone here is so nice. From the workers to the guests. And the drinks are STRONG! 3 drinks in and we were wishing we would've had less The drinks are cheap to top it off. Patio is nice, love the gender neutral bathrooms. Thanks for a good first experience!

Chill atmosphere and good French fries. Nice patio and deck out back. Bartender and other patrons were sociable and nice. LGBT+ friendly

I finally came when there when it wasn't a soccer game and I probably had the best time I've had at a bar in a long time! Was a fantastic time, I'm definitely coming again <3 The aesthetic is great, its chill, and when things start bopping it's an exciting time, absolutely amazing <3

Love watching soccer here and the overlap of community. They have a nice patio which has a giant screen to watch games and is dog friendly too! I repeat dog friendly patio with big screen! Food is standard bar food which is just not my thing but always enjoy it here!

I've seen other people here with the same issue; closing my tab and tipping 20% after last call makes sense, but to close my tab less than an hour after I arrive because you're going home makes less sense. Yes, you have a small sign behind your bar stating this policy, but why on Earth would you decide to not tell us as we're ordering that you'll need us to close out our tabs in the first place? It smacks of sketchy behavior if you won't give us a receipt and decide help yourself to a gratuity that perhaps you didn't deserve. Especially when it took 40 minutes for my food to be ready. Do better.
