Blue Duck Saloon

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If Augustus McCrae and Woodrow Call had a modern-day watering hole, it would be The Blue Duck Saloon. This place serves up food so good, even the grizzliest customers will tip their hat in appreciation. I've tried just about everything on the menu – salads, steak, burgers, and sandwiches. In fact, I've never had a disappointing meal. The food is so good, it would make even Blue Duck himself reconsider his life choices and stay for dinner. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for a quick escape from town. Better food than the Old West and fewer gunfights. So, saddle up and head on over to The Blue Duck Saloon. You're in for a real treat! Happy dining!

Great little hidden gem along the road. Service was fantastic. Great burger, good beer selection. In town for work and asked the hotel clerk where she likes. Glad we did. Definitely my new go to when in Prineville.

I gave this five stars all around because we were so happy with our experience here. A couple days ago I caught a random post on a Facebook page talking about a Lonesome Dove restaurant and bar. Lonesome Dove being a favorite of both me and my dad for many years I knew I had to make the trek all the way from Albany Oregon. I convinced a friend to go, we called out from work and went on a central Oregon mini-adventure with this being our final stop before heading home. The theme decoration was on point, the bathrooms were clean, the service was friendly and the patrons all seemed to have a familiarity with each other giving the place an overall good and comfortable vibe. For the food we started off with some peach sangria's (fruity and delicious), the Mediterranean bruschetta (fresh and beautiful), smash burgers with a side of tots (hot and delicious) and finally the grilled strawberry shortcake (outstanding!). I wish I had taken more pictures. Every dish I had was good enough to order again but I really want to go back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you!

What a fantastic place for food and beverage. I had the French dip and my dad had the shrimp scampi. Presentation was as good as the food! Highly recommend this place.

Been here a few times now and every time I've had amazing food and service! Love the new outdoor area too!! No kids allowed though, that's my own personal draw back for this restaurant, just means it's only a place we can go for date nights though!

My coworkers and I get lunch here often and it’s always so good! I’m the one who picks up the lunch orders and they always have delicious food and they prepare and bag everything nicely and label items if you have a lot. Last week, I was waiting for the lunch order to be finished up because I was early. The waitress offered me water and made small talk. I told her it’s my coworkers birthday and other coworkers birthday the next day so we are having a double birthday. She asked me what each of them ordered and wrote “Happy birthday from the Blue Duck Crew!” And “Happy early birthday” for my other coworker on their take out boxes. I thought that was so kind and it made them so happy when I brought them lunch. The Woodrow pizza is one of my favorite items on the menu. Each of the waitresses has been friendly. The facility is clean and has a nice western atmosphere. Many of my friends say they go there all the time and talk about what new items they’ve tried on the menu.

I was blown away by this place. Me and my friend went there for lunch and the atmosphere was great, (loved the decor!) the staff was friendly and then the food was just ridiculously good. Oh my word! The appetizers were big enough they could’ve been their own meal. I’m definitely going back to try everything else in the menu. The jalapeño artichoke dip was the perfect amount of spice, flavor and creaminess. I cannot wait to go back!

i would have given 6 stars if it were an option. Food was Fantastic and reasonable priced. Drinks were great, and the service was AMAZING !. what a friendly fun staff, my server Kaylee was very friend and personable. she took the time to explain the menu and specials ! will definitely go back.
