This is the best open stage karaoke bar in LA. It has a stunning selection of craft beer and full bar. Amazing vibes and atmosphere, with everyone singing along or dancing in front of the stage. If you come on Friday or Sat, get here early so you can get a chance to sing because the queue will fill up fast.

Preamble: I haven't tried their food (unless you consider beer & tequila to be food). The rating system doesn't allow an option to communicate that. Don't listen to the haters. Boardwalk 11 is a great place to enjoy wasting your time. The regulars are good people. Karaoke is the name of the game. Just have fun and forget about your troubles and ailments while making a fool of yourself (or not) on stage. Water is easily accessible, encouraging healthy choices. Stick to yourself or be a social butterfly. It's up to you. They have an outdoor section where you can greet incoming patrons and still hear the karaoke without it polluting your conversation. All kinds of people patronize this establishment, so I can't say that every single person who has walked through their doors is a saint, but as a whole it is a really chill place with friendly staff and regulars. Singers of all levels come and go, so there's always a variety of enjoyment if karaoke is your thing. Also, if your friends/family like to drink and/or sing, you can't go wrong with hosting a party at Boardwalk 11. Their staff are worth tipping, as well. I've been a semi-regular (some would currently call me a regular) for what feels like the better portion of two decades, and I always see/meet new people here. It's not just a clique hang-out, though if you have a clique, it's a great place to hangout. If you don't, just say hi to someone. I've never been disrespected here. I'm not saying it can't happen but anecdotally I haven't had any problems with that sort of thing. I recommend Boardwalk 11.

I took my mom here for her birthday, they started of welcoming but when we sat down . We were informed we had to pay $15 a drink for a ticket to sing karaoke. They were rude about it. The bartender continued to come clean our table implying for us to leave , after buying food and several drinks. Then the DJ said we had to write our request down but when others came he allowed them to just say their request and never called us to sing again:We left feeling very uncomfortable.

This is not a good place for karaoke. You have to pay to sing. PER DRINK. The bartender charged me for the largest size instead of the smaller size like I wanted. Then when I finally got to sing, the guy wouldn't let me pick the version I wanted even though I WROTE THE EXACT VERSION I WANTED ON THE SLIP OF PAPER THEY GIVE YOU. There are so many better places you could sing at for free.

The bartender and manager are fools. They shouldn't have a karaoke bar. Don't expect karaoke people to pay your rent. I was told by the bartender and. manager I have to buy a drink. Then bartender told me I had to spend money there in order to get a ticket. I told him I was sober. You mean I have to buy 3 tall pineapple juices in order to sing 3 songs? I go to many other bars and don't have to do this. They should sell their bar and have someone else run it. The reason the bar exists is because of alcoholics during the week because Noone is there. I and my friends will not be returning.

Very sad that I feel the need to write this review. My friends and I have been coming here for years and for a while it was considered our second home. We’ve spent countless weekends and some weekdays here building community, singing our hearts out, and overall enjoying our time. For a long time we described this place as having a magic energy to it because there was such a strong sense of community and everyone always felt welcomed. However, something shifted in the last six months and this place has become intolerable. I’m not sure if there was a management change or what, but the overall vibe of this place has completely shifted. It went from feeling like a 3rd space for the Palms community to becoming an exclusive hang out for the owners and their friends. The new DJ is awful and incredibly rude, not to mention his drunk girlfriend tried to physically fight my friends in the parking lot and the drunk girlfriend ended up driving off and almost hit another car while speeding out of the parking lot. All of this happened in front of the owner who then told us that were the problem… Paying, regular customers who have been coming here for years and have never had any issues. Such a shame. Something else we noticed is that we haven’t seen the majority of regulars we used to see every weekend. Maybe everyone is feeling the shift? Sad. I truly hope Boardwalk gets back to the energy it used to have. For now, my friends and I won’t be returning.

This place is totally awesome. Drinks were made nicely. I was here for my bday. I didn't have to pay anything extra for my party of 15 people , they set aside a long dining table, kept my cake in refrigeration until I blew out the candles. The waitress Maria was especially attentive and catered to us swiftly and prompt. I believe Boardwalk 11 has every song you could ever think of and their system for sound was BoomBastic! I will definitely return to this Gem.

i was visiting LA and decided to pay boardwalk eleven a visit as i heard good things well what a DISSAPOINTMENT !! Starting with Steve the owner who was extremely rude and impolite i over heard a conversation between him and one of the chefs talking trash about a staff member named Kat !!! Now on to the food wouldn’t even feed it to my dog, burger was extremely over cooked and dry with the fries almost like i was eating them frozen after waiting 60 minutes for this horrific meal that i wouldn’t even call a meal and seeing mouse droppings all over the floor i got steve’s attention to make him aware of this and was told by him (if you like it lady then leave ) to which i did refusing to pay the check as i was leaving boardwalk11 Steve hollarad down the street don’t come back I CAN ASSURE YOU I WONT BE BACK AND EVERYONE STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE ITS UNHYGIENIC !!!!!!!
