Bobby V's Restaurant & Sports Bar - Stamford

11/8/24 first time here. A very cool spot, i sat at the end of the bar. Seats were comfortable. Rachel the bartender was great! I had the bowl of chili and the pretzel logs. Both good! Nice portion of chili too. It was a fun environment with all the people watching the games. They had the sound on for the main game. Nice. I will return.

Bartender is great friendly professional and great demeanor. Food I'm not reviewing but beers were poured well in chilled glasses. May have been a mis pour as Ice Cream Man was on the menu and ordered but not what I received. Very strange appears mixup on taps in keg room.... Decent lager so wasn't sending it back...

I came from Michigan and parked about a half mile away. After arriving, the place all appeared more than half empty. It's 7pm. The hostess asked if I would like a table or suit at the bar. The bar was pretty full, so I opted for a table. She informed me that since I was alone, a table of one wouldn't be possible. She said all of the tables were already reserved. The place was almost empty except for the bar, lol. Terrible service, didn't get to try the food. The atmosphere was quiet and slow.

DISCLAIMER: I DONT WANT ANYONE READING THIS TO THINK THIS IS A REFLECTION OF THEIR NORMAL SERVICE BECAUSE I AM UNCERTAIN. ALL I KNOW IS HOW I WAS TREATED AND HOW IT MADE ME AND MY GUESS FEEL........ SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!! This place seats over a hundred people easily! The day we went there was only 5 people there besides us. The pics attached show the filthy flat wear we were giving initially. The cloth napkins also had grease and food stains. Our waitress Caitlin D was very rude and judgemental. Around 10 minutes after receiving our food, she kept asking if we were ready for the check. I saw her speaking with a gentleman, and they kept looking at us as they spoke. So we just paid and left a 20 percent tip, although we were not halfway done with our food. She kept coming over every 3 to 5 minutes asking if we're finished. Our sever's attitude the whole time was extremely condescending.I asked her politely if she wanted us to leave. I told her we felt like we were being rushed and we just wanted to enjoy our meal. After that, we were left alone but noticed she spoke to a female who seemed like a manager who also kept looking at us. Prior to us leaving, we heard two employees hollering and screaming at each other. I assume they were kitchen workers. However, THE FOOD WAS GREAT, AND THE VENUE IS EXCEPTIONAL!!!! A great place to hang out on game night!

Great place to come and watch a game. So many tvs and it creates a great atmosphere. They had some great wings too! No better place to watch a sporting event.

It’s a sports bar, set your expectations accordingly. Attentive staff, when not too busy. Tons of screens, many sport options. Good drink prices. Simple and enjoyable.

This was probably one of the best sports bars I have ever been too. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely phenomenal. We went here two days in a row on our vacation and had the same server both times... Her name was Josephine. She was absolutely amazing. Quick and efficient, but also personable and gave us some amazing suggestions for other places to visit while on our trip. The atmosphere is also maintained very well. Highly recommend and will definitely return each time we are in CT.

This place was so fun BUT I’m so unhappy with how they treat their staff. Came here for march madness final four and went upstairs. Went to the bar and Katie B was amazing but was the only person working a bar that had over 40 people to be served. The guy serving the upstairs section was also so on it and able to serve everyone so quickly but should have definitely had more help. I’m so impressed with how they handled such an insane load of clients. Katie was so kind through the clear insane burden she was going through and got us our drinks so quickly. Once Bobby decides to staff his workers so they’re supported, I’ll come back.
