1st timer here. Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find someone to use enough pressure, but this gentleman did a fantastic job. The stretching was amazing too. I feel like a noodle right now. I’ll be back atleast monthly.

Going to be detailed on this because I think it is relevant and I hope that this reaches someone who needs work done. First time client/patient. I was experiencing lower back and posterior hip pain to the point where I could not be still. No acute injury to my knowledge but I definitely was doing something wrong. Probably poor ergonomics among other things like sitting with a wallet in my back pocket, poor posture, etc. I finished my first couple meetings and enough was enough. I called them and got me in same day. I did not know what to expect. My experience was healing and memorable. The intuitive, knowledgeable, and professional approach surpassed every massage/therapy I have had in the past. Thank you, Rena. Thank you Body Zen Spa. This one session helped me more than you could know. I am grateful. Thank you for your kindness, and energy put in to help me. So, there you have it. 10 stars.

I’ve been getting massages for almost 3 decades now and I’ve traveled the world and had massages in many different countries. Never in a million years did I think traveling back to my hometown of Waterville Maine I would get the best massage in my life. Rena is a superstar. I can’t say enough about her. Oh my God she was amazing. My normal massage therapist in Florida is fantastic and I’ve been going to her for years and I thought I was never gonna get any better than her, but Renna raised the bar to a new level!!!

Wow, this is the best place to get a massage in central maine. My massage was deep and therapeutic, addressing some intensive back issues I’ve been having. I came away with deep relaxation and no more pain. My massage therapist was an expert— this was literally best massage I’ve ever had, and I have had a lot. Clean, professional, possessing ancient health wisdom, this place is legit. I will go again, for sure.

THE BEST MASSAGE!!! After car traveling for several hours, it had been suggested that a massage would be beneficial. Cannot describe how wonderful and relaxed it feels. Hope to get another one in before heading home!!

My husband and I had a absolutely INCREDIBLE massages here. They were so kind, skilled, and were able to make time to accommodate us last minute. It was very affordable as well, and would worth every penny no matter the price. We will definitely be back. 11/10!

Let me begin by saying that I am a licensed massage therapist myself, I have a private practice in bangor and I’ve been practicing for 8 years and I would recommend Martin 10/10. I know many other LMTs in Maine and they are all incredible in their own way but right now I’m choosing to travel an hour from Bangor to see Martin for my chronic pain. I first met him when I got a couples massage in Augusta and their sister location. My BF and I were very late to our appointment and they were so friendly and accommodating! I can’t remember what the other woman’s name was but she was super friendly and they did amazing therapeutic deep tissue massage. I deal with severe chronic pain in my face, head neck and shoulders from multiple injuries. By the time we were done I felt like a new person. Martin has over 20 years of experience and it’s evident. He was able to address my issues despite a small language barrier mostly just by feel. I saw him once after that and same thing. I know I can rely on him for consistent work for serious relief. The reason I really wanted to write this review is because I was finally able to see him for acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. I have dealt with chronic severe urinary tract infections that quickly spread to kidney infections. I was hospitalized frequently and became antibiotic resistant until I started seeing an acupuncturist regularly in Las Vegas Nevada regularly in my early 20s. I have not had a kidney infection since and my bladder infections became way less frequent. I still experience UTIs brought on by sever stress every once in a while (if you know, you know how agonizing they are) for the past month I have been able to get ride of it and at bay with my own western herbal knowledge. The herbs I typically use usually get rid of the uti pretty quickly but this time it just kept coming back with vengeance. After seeing Martin and getting acupuncture and some Chinese herbs I feel so much relief!!!! I’m so grateful to Martin it makes me pretty emotional. I’m a single mother and business owner, I have no ability for down time. I need to feel better and Martin was able to help me! Tradition Chinese medicine really is incredible. Whatever ailment you are dealing with, I strongly urge you to make an appointment with him!!! You won’t regret it. He’s also ridiculously affordable and very kind, you’ll feel extremely welcomed and at home. It helps to bring your cell phone to use google translation for better communication.

My sister and I got massages here after making same day reservations and it was amazing. I had a migraine when I went in and felt better than ever after. My sister also said the massage therapist she had found and worked out a knot that even my sister didn't know she had. I highly recommend this place!
