Boomerangs Down Under Bar

Great service, everyone very friendly, kids (over 21) singing my jam! Good food, fast service! Thank you!

Had to ask for drinks regularly and my tacos came out cold and with like 14 pieces of grated cheese. The first bartender who started our tab didn’t check on us and they were all outside smoking it seemed like.

We were headed to a Broadway show across the street and had time I wanted to grab a quick bite. When we first walked in it seemed pleasant, but within five minutes, the atmosphere changed and the Devon that was our bartender was incredibly rude and kept walking past us and wouldn’t even make eye contact. After a half hour we had to cancel our order because we had a show to catch. We had even told Devon the moment we sat down that we had the Broadway show across the street that we had to be there by 7:30. We can’t decide if he just hates women or our friend was racially profiled. Regardless of what the situation was, we felt very uncomfortable and they were highly unprofessional.

This bar sucks. They are playing insanely loud music you can hear blocks away that started at 4:30. I can feel it in the ground. This bar is no where near good enough to be disrupting the peace in this neighborhood. But don’t call them they’ll either hang up on you or snap at you so that shows what kind of service they have Edit: looked more into this place and they have a history of racism towards patrons and have hired very questionable comedians/entertainers

I met people here per the recommendation of a friend. I walked upstairs and EDM music was playing. I felt a little out of the place due to the grunge vibe but I can see people were enjoying themselves. I checked out downstairs and it was more my vibe. Chill music and easy access to the bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and made well by the bartenders. I was attended to well by the bartending staff. I didn’t try the food. I will have to come back for that experience. The bathrooms though were trashed and stunk. Overall the place can clean up. I did park down the street which is to be expected downtown.

Love this place! Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders! Rachel was such a delight to hang out with on a Monday evening! Great drinks and great specials! Will definitely be back every time I am in SLC.

Justin was the coolest bartender ever! I came in with my service dog and he was so nice! Got him water and let me know about the drink specials! Can’t wait to come back!

Bartender was super nice. Ordered drinks from the drink menu they were very good.
