Brandy's Piano Bar

What can I say??? Perfectly, quintessential New York institution. Such an amazing night. The pianist was absolutely brilliant and entertaining. We arrived very early, so I was able to capture the space empty. The history within Brandy’s walls…. I can only imagine. We’ll be back!!

This is a very small establishment and seating is limited so you really do have to get there early! The bar staff were fun and kept the drinks flowing! It's a local hotspot, the crowd were friendly and we enjoyed socializing with New Yorkers. This is a place to enjoy the music and you can sing along but the management do not like you to chat amongst yourselves. We observed the management getting their security to reprimand some people at the bar for talking, and we did not think they were being loud at all. So it's definitely more of a listen environment (nothing wrong with that) but important to note for your expectations before you take your group there.

This might just be my favorite bar in New York City! The music is amazing and the vibes are incredible. It’s got a dive like and welcoming feel. This bar is always very crowded. You likely will not get a table unless you’re there before 9, but you might be able to snag a bar seat at later times. Don’t let the crowdedness deter you though - it is part of its charm! This bar is always a great time!!

I like this bar and the staff; it has a great atmosphere. However, I've been disappointed with the musicians. They often ignore song requests, and when I pay for a song, it rarely plays, even when the bar isn’t busy. This has happened several times with me, and it's frustrating. Just be aware that if you pay for a song, you might not hear it!

This is one the reasons I’d consider moving to NYC. Brandys is a spot where you can be social and be inspired - and it’s a great hangout for singers - I love the moments where someone quiets the crowd and the place feels super intimate for the moment. The staff are talented and personable, and the piano players are superb

Definitely!!!! Have to come here!!!! A nice spot on lexington with the best atmosphere. Mario recommended a cosmo and I definitely say get it!!!!!!!! I'm definitely coming back!!!!!

Talent is great but very minimal staff. Waited 15 minutes to get a check back while bartender was serving others that arrived after the fact, actively avoiding. Not worth it
