Brass Bar & Lounge

Thank you Brass Bar & Lounge for allowing us to have our rehearsal dinner at the lounge! The place was decorated beautifully by Untamed Events and we loved the downtown atmosphere for our guests. Having the place to ourselves, we felt like rockstars. Using Brass Bar & Lounge in combination with Untamed Events was a dream. I would recommend to anyone for a private event as we were able to bring in a saxophone player, a caricature, food, and have a cozy place for our guests to mingle, drink and dance.

Great space but was overcharged twice when two of the people we came with were charged for the bars tab. Check your receipts. One of us was charged $70 for two shots. Then told sorry we cannot refund you. This is stealing. Would not come back.

The bar itself was okay, small but nice looking. The DJ was good, but the music was so loud I couldn't even hear my friend sitting next to me as she was screaming in my ear. I ordered a round of shots for my friends and I and paid with my debit card and tipped the bar tender cash. The next day I received an alert from my bank that the charge on my card had been updated to include tip even though I crossed off the tip line and put zero on the receipt. they also charge a CC surcharge that they don't tell you about. We definitely will not be returning to this place.

All I can say is WOW my 1st experience at brass was exceptional. The staff was beyond exceptional very classy and attentive. The atmosphere was awesome I really loved the live saxophone player walking by the table plating to the music. I would highly recommend getting table service. I will definitely go back to this Rochester hotspot.

Awesome experience there! Went out with my friends and got some drinks at the bar. Friendly bartenders and staff, good vibes/atmosphere, and the music was great! Would recommend for a weekend night out or for birthdays/events.

The environment at Brass is unmatched. I have been coming here for years now and I have never left without having a good time. The staff is so kind and will make sure you are having fun. 10/10 would recommend.

I've been going to Brass Since the opening launch and the service has aways been Phenomenal! VIP Service is Top Notch. Very welcoming & attentive staff, that pays close attention to detail!
