Briar Patch

This bar isnt what it was years ago. Its a shadow of its former self. Dead environment bar staff marginal security even worse. The place was dead we were only 4 ppl in our party plus 3 other ppl . We got removed from the bar because a friend of ours fell down. He has a condition called vertigo not cuz he was drunk needles to say you cant argue with ignorant minimum wage clock punchers in a dead end job for losers. The bartender should not be allowed to have her boyfriend at work . She was paying attention more to her boyfriend than customers bottom line this is a dive a flea bag bar and smells like cat urine.

The Briar Patch ! Very dirty especially the bathrooms needs a make over . Was frisked at the door so geto . Not even a hi from the bartenders. On gay pride . The old Briar Patch was better when Klaus and Don Randino owned and Gilbert Marqus the manager !!!

There’s a difference between an actual queer space and a bar that is happy to take money from queer people. This is the latter. Straight bar cosplaying as a gay bar. Not wheelchair accessible. Terrible restrooms.

This is as good as it’s going to get for El Paso. Great DJs, basic drinks, and nice nighttime atmosphere.

Saw a women getting frisked at the door by a man. Was very weird especially for a gay bar. Not very inclusive for one. Yuck

Worst bartender I’ve ever experienced, very rude and wouldn’t accept a valid drivers license and wouldn’t give a valid reason why. He was more focused on giving out free shots to EVERYONE of his friends in the bar. The man at the bar shouldn’t be a bartender if he wants to represents this bar y’all are losing money on your liquor he’s making y’all lose your business for free shots. 9:40pm OCTOBER 3

I am so very impressed by the DJ they had tonight! He knew exactly what he was doing and I absolutely loved my time here for that very reason. The drinks were good and so was the ambience. Obviously I'd go back.

The bouncer with the pony tail is rude and denies my friends for no reason
