A Johnny Cash themed honky-tonk? In San Jose? Accessible, if narrow? Queer friendly? Last thing I expected to find, but glad I did. Decent priced drinks, great vibes, old school outlaw country playing overhead, pool table, impeccable service. 4.7/5 would recommend.

Smells exactly like a dive bar. Highly recommend for anyone looking for someplace other than a cookie cutter metal bar stool. Johnny Cash mural and music selection completely on point. Menu on an old letter sign as well.

Fantastic Bar in downtown San Jose. Really helpful bartender, fun and simple menu and great variety of liquors (esp Whiskeys). Highly recommend the Whiskey Apple and Greyhound! Fun fact: Cash only bar has a juke box that says “Cash Only” that only contains Johnny Cash music 🙂

Consistency is key, uniqueness makes you stand out, and cash only means cash only….this place hits the mark on consistency, uniqueness, and their name. Cool honkeytonk style bar in Downtown SJ with friendly neighborhood vibes….and the whiskey apple is just that over ice, and hella bomb. Highly recommended.

$4 drafts, $5 cans of Hamm's, and $5 shots. What more could you want? Nice upbeat Johnny Cash dive bar with a bit of class added to it. There is a pool table in the back. ATM machine on site. Friendly down to earth bartenders. Come look and see for yourself

Great bar with a laid back attitude. I recommend the frozen Irish coffee or apple whiskey. They accept cash only. Be sure to check out the cool bathrooms.

I was having a great time drinking and conversating with my friend in the pool room, and the owner came up to me and asked me if I was vaping. I said it wasn't me if the owner was watching she would've seen it was the couple playing pool the male was vaping. It made me uncomfortable due to the fact she was staring at me and accused me of vaping. Due to this I left, I left their bar early without finishing my drink. The bouncer was cool though and so was our bartender. But due to the owner my first time at her bar was uncomfortable and made me feel unwelcomed. It felt like since the couple was white she didn't question them but since I am of a darker skin tone she questioned me first.

Owner came up to my friend and blame him for smoking, when it was the couple playing pool today that was vaping Wednesday while we were waiting to play pool. We felt discriminated against, they can check the cameras we never vape. We left early tonight, we honestly felt discriminated and didn’t wanted to stay longer, I even left my full drink tonight.
