Cathode Ray Buffalo

Went there a couple times with my eldest son Andrew and some of his friends. Very welcoming and drinks were very reasonable and one time we were there they had these huge drinks served in huge mason jars that were only $5.00. So big that my son and I shared it. I would go again and suggest you give it a try. I love the Allentown too. Always have.

Its not the nicest place but its cool. Some people are put off by the fact that its a hole in the wall, which is understandable. But the atmosphere is cool, the ppl that come there and the bartenders are nice. They have karaoke nights which is always a good time. Their drinks are cheap,and in the summer time they have a patio.

One of my favorite places. Great friends. It definitely feels like home. I do miss the precovid times like karaoke, but some day I hope things can get back to some semblance of normalcy. I will also say they do a good job of following the covid regulations, everyone wears masks and distances.

The smell of urinal cakes slaps you in the face upon entering. But once you get past that, its ok for a few starter drinks. Seemed chill and relaxing.

I'm a Buffalo native and have lived elsewhere for years. CR is my 1st, usually only stop when visiting. I always feel welcome and comfortable.

Good place to go and have a few beers and maybe even meet a few guys. The crowd here is very clickey but the times that I've been here, I've enjoyed playing pool and listening to the music from their juke box.

Absolutely great staff. My favs are Amanda, all the Mike's and both Zach's. The staff is great and the drinks are well priced and taste great.

Small fun and friendly for all. The patio is nice in the summer. I always have fun when i go here with friends.
