Country Line Dancing is the best at Charlie’s! Such an amazing community of people and so much fun to learn something new! The drinks are super affordable too! This is my favorite spot in Chicago, hands down. I haven’t partied here late night though, so I can’t speak to that. Once the club music turns on and the smoke machine gets going, that’s my cue to leave haha

Love that this place has stayed true to its self. I used to go to the one Denver years ago and last time I went there it has changed soo much. And it has lost its western theme that made it unique. But the one in Chicago has really stuck to its guns. It’s smaller but it makes the atmosphere more intimate. And they still keep those lovely disco boots around a must stop for gay rugged boys and bears and their fans

Charlie’s Chicago is our go-to spot every Monday for Monday Night Drag Bingo, and it never disappoints! The hosts, Aurora Divine and Bella de Balle, are absolutely fabulous and keep the energy high all night. The fun prizes add an extra layer of excitement to the evening. Whether you’re a regular or a newcomer, Charlie’s offers a welcoming and lively atmosphere that’s perfect for a night out with friends. We always have a blast and look forward to each visit. Highly recommend it for a fun and entertaining night!

Great place. I’m a line dancer from CA and while some dance steps are different it all worked out. Bartender gave my 12 dances list to DJ and he played many of them. You’re never alone on the floor because others want to learn your dance if they don’t know it. If I come back to Chicago I plan to check it out and dance again.

Depends on who the bartender is that i walk up to is. Most of them sit and ignore me and take care of everyone else who walks up after me. I have been ignored a few times i went to a different bartender entirely.
