This is, in my opinion, one of the best places to see rock shows...easy to get to, always good bands, a super friendly staff, and $4 PBRs...what's not to like? If you wanna support the local hardcore/punk/metal scene, this is the place to do it!

My favorite venue since first seeing Nasty Disaster there in 2014, I'll take Cherry Street over load's place or the slobster any day. A little cramped but that just makes the mosh more interesting, always some cool people to talk to between bands. Malibu Bay Breeze would be my recommended drink. I'll post some more flyers of shows past once I can find 'em in my hovel. There's two shows in particular I'm trying to find out who played, one being the entirety of the 2015 black metal weekend (midget singer was chewing his hand into bloody hamburger atop the left house P.A. stack, pretty sure that was an Ezra booking) after baconfest & another from 2015/16 where the dude emptied a chest of bones on the floor & was singing into a mic with a burning goat's head on it, they headlined that night....made the place smell like I needed BBQ asap. Btw....do you guys have some sort of mailing list for show updates (either by text or e-mail) that I can sign up for? I missed atleast ten awesome gigs since I don't use the socials & morphed into a full metal recluse.

This place is awesome! One of my favorite places to play. Tucked away by the train tracks so noise is not an issue. Staff is always wonderful and prices are fair! Can't recommend enough

Everything is as it should be here. You might be put off by the location...or you might love it. Regardless, once you get inside, you get a true no frills rock club/bar. Small, grungy, cozy; decor that is unique without being contrived, nice separation of bar area and performance space, surprisingly great beer selection, large outdoor patio area (Watch for the trains!) Staff is great...there was a guy running around that ran sound, and he was doing everything under the sun. He was a machine. Loved him. Speaking of sound, their setup is on point. All the bands we saw sounded very very good. Solid low end, loud without distortion. Check this place out. Reminds me of those old clubs I used to go to in New Haven and New York. Definitely has its own vibe though. Loved it. Will be back.

Good atmosphere, large outdoor patio with covered seating area, and the bar has a good variety with great prices. Checkout the website for band information. Photo Credit: Giggles Photography, band is "Carried by VI"

Best place ever. Sarah is the best and Holly and Dennis and Joaquin at the door for the shows all top tier

Bartenders do a great job managing a packed house. The staff is great, and I've seen some awesome shows over the years at Cherry St.

Cherry Street Station is the Metal Mecca of CT as far as local venues go. I've been a regular at this bar since 2011 and it always feels like home. No fancy frills or crazy menus just music and booze. A real dive bar with real people who are accepting, caring and amazing. Some of the finest folks I know. Go see a local show here. You won't regret it.
