Classic Spa Massage

This establishment is a complete disappointment. Don’t expect to unwind here. This was my first visit, and as someone who regularly enjoys foot spas, I had high hopes. Upon arrival, a woman greeted me and inquired about the service I wanted. I opted for the 60-minute combo massage. She led me to a room, briefly showed me the foot soak setup, and then left. After I changed and settled onto the bed, she abruptly entered and insisted that I pay before she could begin. I questioned why she hadn’t mentioned this upfront, especially since I was already undressed and my credit card was in my coat pocket. Her response was curt: "You need to pay first." Frustration set in, as I’ve visited numerous foot spas in St. Louis, and this was a first for me. I pointed to my coat, confirming that my payment was in there. She retrieved my card and processed the payment, clearly expecting a tip right away. I declined, stating I would tip after the service was complete. As the treatment began, I mentioned that my back was sore and requested firm pressure. Instead, she started using her elbows, which was quite painful. I politely asked her to switch to using her hands, but she flatly refused. When I inquired if someone else could assist me, she began shouting in Chinese to her colleagues, who then crowded into the room. They all stated that no one could accommodate my request. Frustrated, I said I would leave, but she reluctantly agreed to try my request. Throughout the session, I could hear her heavy breathing, making it clear that she was not at all invested in providing a pleasant experience. The noise from other staff members laughing and chatting loudly in the adjacent room only added to the chaos. I was relieved when the hour finally came to an end. This was by far the worst massage experience I’ve ever had, and I will not be returning.

Lisa gave me an amazing massage, made sure I was relaxed and also got my knots and kinks loosened up. This will be my go to spot for a great massage!
