I recently visited Cobra, a popular LGBTQ club in North Hollywood, and I have some mixed feelings about the experience… The club itself is vibrant, with wonderful music and a spacious outdoor patio that’s great for mingling. However, there are a few areas where it could improve. First, the restrooms are a challenge. There’s often a line, and with the volume of people, the bathroom footprint could definitely be expanded—adding more urinals would help alleviate this issue. Additionally, the drinks are pricey—a single beer costs $10, and that’s on top of the cover fee to enter.!!! While I understand that nightlife has its costs, it would be great if the cover charge included a drink coupon or similar perk. As someone who prioritizes safety (and as a Marine Corps veteran), I couldn’t help but notice a few potential concerns; With the crowd size, there should be more accessible exits, especially since parts of the bar are shut off later in the evening, limiting the available ways out. This could pose a serious hazard in an emergency. I’d recommend keeping ALL exits OPEN during closing hours to ensure everyone can leave quickly and #1, safely!! Lastly, the location is in a somewhat industrial area, and I’d feel much more at ease if there were visible security at the entrance… A guard stationed out front would go a long way toward providing peace of mind for patrons. Overall, Cobra has a lot of potential to be an even better space for the LGBTQ community, but a few operational and safety tweaks could make it more enjoyable and secure for everyone.

Never in my life! Never ever have I experienced a night like this. I was thrown out because two females shoved and literally drag me from my hair to the floor. They weren’t thrown out but my sisters and I were. The bouncer were so rude and disrespectful literally making comments about my sister weight. Music was great, drinks were great, bar tenders were great. Just the way they handled this was not the best. Improve your security!

Have been this bar for many years and always the best. But tonight one of the dancers was out of this world so good. He deserves a praise. You are the best. Hope they tell him my thanks

Had a great night at Club Cobra. Great to be in a more relaxed atmosphere. Only thing; sometimes I like a glass of wine, but I was told they didn’t sell wine.

Went out n Thursday night. The ugly looking cashier charged me $15, although cover is $10. I would ask change for 20$, shhe would gave 19$. Lol. I guess when you steal a dollar here, five there, it all adds up.

Expensive! Drinks are almost triple the price of the drinks at The Bullet Bar.

First time here and the place was a blast, at first the place was semi empty with nobody dancing which gives you room to buy drinks, there’s some seating to enjoy your drinks. The vibe is okay, at 11:30 and beyond the place gets packed, it gets hot from all the dancing bodies on the dance floor, the dj begins to play all the music that gets the mood going.. the dancers are hot, and really engaging for a dollar haha…shout out victor osuna! Towards the end the floor is a wet mess which doesn’t get swept so you’ve been warned and another precaution do not bring white shoes as mine got completely dirtied at the end of the day. Totally recommend this club as me and my friend had a blast and met some cool people here.
