OK, this could be a higher review but I hope management sees this. I was disappointed the dress code wasn’t enforced for men but I get it. It’s a difficult thing to enforce when people are paying good money. I wish the club would offer a way of matching. I mean something like a couple number (say couple #7), and you can fill out a card with your number and the number of the couples you would like to know better. Kind of like speed dating. This way the staff can notify you if there’s a match and you can at least start a conversation with other couples. Please implement something like this and email everyone. We’re hoping to be regulars but you just can’t tell if couples are shy or not interested Also it would be cool if there was a missed encounters email. I’ll go first: to the nice couple who offered a seat at their table, on Saturday August 31st sorry we had to leave early. Would like to reconnect again.

Me and my wife visited this establishment for the first time last night (Friday) and I must say it was an OK experience. The scenes were great, but that MUSIC........OMG.......if you all can find another DJ, I would increase my score to a 4.5, but I would go back again.

First off, as you can see I don’t write reviews and if there was an option for zero stars I would give it. Me and my spouse simply came to have a good time and spend time with one another. The young lady at the bar named Emerald was sweet (at first) her and I hit it off because my wedding has emerald colors in it so we talked about that. She proceeded to tell me how she wanted to stop bartending at this establishment and she had her own LLC and me being a business professional, I tried explaining to her what she could do to utilize her LLC. Like, by opening a travel bar or something like that. I showed her a couple bank statements so I could show her my method of online marketing works and I believe she got jealous over it and made it seem like I was doing something to her when I wasn’t. We were told to leave but they never asked me what happened because Emerald was crying about me being “aggressive” which is crazy because we were talking about how to make money and my wedding. She even gave me her number and told me to text all the information we talked about to her since she was busy with other customers. Not to mention there’s music blasting through the club so I have to “yell” or speak “louder” for her to hear me. The GM came outside after we got escorted outside by security (10-30 minutes later… not sure the time frame but well after the encounter with Emerald) and told me she’s not going to listen to me and told me and my spouse we had to leave or the police was going to be called when nothing happened. Seriously, NOTHING HAPPENED! At this point, I was upset because nobody was listening and nobody could tell me how I was being “aggressive” or what even happened between me and Emerald, the security was even confused. Me and my spouse are members and regulars to the Houston location and was hoping the same here since moving to Austin but as of last night, we will not be or ever be, and since just last night 5 of my close friends have terminated their memberships as well. Very rude, mean, spiteful, unprofessional, jealous and envious people. I wouldn’t waste my time going here especially when all you want to do is enjoy your time with your spouse. It is not worth your energy or money. My spouse and I are about to get married and we needed a night to ourselves and they completely ruined it over nothing.

Really a great experience. We went for Halloween and it was packed. Lots of fun.

Been to Collette 4 times and all 4 times the music is bad. Saturday we attended ken and barbie party and same thing music was bad, should have been called 80s 90s disco instead. The place is really nice but something needs to be done about the music. But for now us and 3 other couples have decided to not go again.

Obviously I'm not scoring it for food or drink, but the atmosphere and staff here are top notch. I was a little upset at the changing of software programs and then losing my membership, but the staff was awesome in helping us get re-registered on the new platform. If you're in the lifestyle and wanting a place to hang out with like-minded folks this is it.

Granted, I have only been to one other club with the same theme as Colette, so naturally, I am going to compare the two. Colette does not get 3 stars because of the staff because every single interaction I had with the staff was Grade A; from the guy at the door, to the cashiers, the beautiful young lady who gave us a tour and even the bartender/room checker were all on their game, were very professional and seemed to be genuine about it. There were also no issues with any of the other club goers. Obviously, this is where I share what I feel could be done differently, again I am comparing to another club I have frequented. Rather than having 2 designated areas for the two types of behaviors, Colette is one giant pot with no division between the side in which you would dress to impress and the side you 'let it all hang'. Perhaps I missed it during the tour, as I never visited the bathroom, but I do not recall there being any showers, I don't like the cooler aspect of storing beverages and I don't feel there were enough lockers as I do have and always will have trust issues with just having my stuff laying around. Finally, I am not sure if the DJ for the night we visited is a normal fixture but he needs to either get a feel for the crowd and/or venue or change careers. It was not possible to catch a pleasurable mood in such an establishment, with YMCA playing in your ear.

Used to be good but this club is dead and the management is terrible, reason why people quit going there. Don’t pay to go there and be surprised.
