Great happy hour during the week. Old bar lots of old memories there. The food was so much better than the last visit I remember. Staff was what you would expect for the surroundings. (Canless) it aint. But I like places like the Comet. It still has the vibe of years past living in Seattle decades ago. I wouldn't change a thing.

Never had a worse experience with a bouncer in my life. Felt so incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome by the bouncer that I ended up leaving. Absolutely did not feel like a safe space for LGBTQ+ community members, contrary to the sign outside the door. Your mileage may vary. I won’t be back.

Comet used to be my go-to brunch spot on the weekends because I could eat Lost lake food in a chill place, but lately, this has changed. Where the vibe used to be friendly and close knit, now it feels more like just a bar. Nothing special, just another bar. The staff used to be very engaged with the customers, and now they are more standoffish. A lot of the staff I was used to seeing also no longer seem to be working there. I heard somewhere that the management had changed, and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with this weird shift in energy but I don't think I'll continue to go here unless I really want to avoid the lines at Lost Lake.

Lovely place for a weekend party! Caters all age groups. Different areas for loud and dance music for teens and headbangers, a cozy place for those who want to talk more with a good ambiance, an open full of lights area with sofa seats for those who just want to eat good food and have a couple of drinks in peace! Food and drinks both are reasonable and very tasty. Super friendly staff as well. #pubsinseattle #seattlenightlife #barsandreataurant

Bartender with the bleach blonde and mustache made my friend and I feel like an inconvenience the entire time… ordered 2 drinks and 2 shots total… served with a side of unfriendliness. There’s much better bars in the area, I would recommend trying other places before coming here!

The bouncer was not paying attention to us when we walked up, when there wasn’t even a line. He then proceeded to take and KEEP my friends ID and mocked us for telling him he can’t do that. I do not appreciate being harassed by bouncers, I will not be returning.

Place sucks came here for the first time with my girlfriend, and the vibes and atmosphere immediately wasn't good. 1 bartender was kind, the other with a leather vest was rude when asked where the water was. Bouncer was rude, mean mugging my girlfriend, and snatched her cup of water out her hands as we were leaving. Don't come here if you are person of color. The feeling of unwelcome is apparent

This is a great local place to have a drink and laughs with bar staff and patrons.
