Cork 'N Barrel Newburg, WI

Place seems cool. Ordered food. Server chatted with someone for 15 minutes before entering our order on the computer. She was very unprofessional and lied directly to me when asked about her chatting 5 feet from me, unconcerned that people are here for service. Only 2 tables at the time being served and she never visited the other table the whole time.

Wait staff was very quick. Food came our quickly. I wish I could have substituted a grilled chicken breast instead of a burger. Burgers sound yummy but I can't have beef.

I was satisfied. It was clean. The food was good and well thought out. I had the wings Thai chili and ... They were good size and reminded me a little of Hooters wings. Bloody Mary was good. There's outdoor seating here too.

Somehow this place has flown under the radar for me for far too long. Easily the best happy hour around, the best food, and the best selection of mid to higher end bourbons at a fair price. They have a bartender that gives a damn, and she'll tell you she doesn't know if she doesn't know. And she can handle a crowd with a decent personality. That is so so rare these days that its for sure one of the reasons I come back. Fun dice/bar games. Without a doubt, the best outdoor area I have seen in OZ/Wash counties - for a higher level dive ish bar. Not quite a dive, but also not wearing your Sunday best here...

Today was my first time there. My friend and I had lunch there. It wasn't too busy and we got a table immediately. I had the chicken enchilada soup and a wedge salad. The salad was huge and the soup was very good. My friend had the chicken wrap and was only able to eat 1/2 because it was pretty big too. I took my son home the crab rangoons and mozzarella sticks and he ate every bite, so I can only assume they were delicious.

Outstanding food and service! Delightful fried clam chowder bites appetizer, and THERE WAS A STEAK ON MY BURGER! The smothered Buffalo chicken fries were beautifully plated. Lots of great drink specials too. New favorite restaurant!

Food was good but price was a little bit higher than most places in the area for a fish fry. Our server was a little sub par. She forgot part of the drink order and also silverware not sure if it was just a off day but at the end of the day I would still go back.

I recently moved to Newburg and was excited to see all of the new restaurant options to check out. My first experience was take out of Cork N Barrel (which is walking distance from my house!) I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Wrap,the Black n Blue Burger, the Barrel Burger,and the Jumbo Patty Melt with a side of Mac n cheese instead of fries. I was a little confused where to go to pick up my food, but was quickly pointed to the kitchen area up the steps.(When you walk in it just looks like a bar). Parking on the street was easy to find. The macaroni and cheese was delicious!! I will definitely be getting that again. The barrel burger and the jumbo petty melt were amazing!! I think the patty malt was my favorite thing so far. The black and blue burger was pretty good except it was a little disappointed how simple it was. But everything was cooked to perfection!! Next time I might try eating there instead of take out because it looks like a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
