Crystal NightClub

I felt apprehensive to visit due to the low reviews, but I loved it here! I was tired of the usual bars in the Montrose area so we decided to try this place for the first time. You have to pay $10 to park and $10 to enter; I believe only cash is accepted for those transactions. I really enjoyed that this establishment caters to Latinos. They played a lot of good music and the DJ played some songs I requested. Lots of reggaeton and nothing in English, which is what I was looking for. Everyone was very nice including the bartenders. I appreciated that they do not allow cigarette smoking. Looking forward to coming back!

What a waste of money & time. Pay to park, pay to enter; watered down drinks & worst if all! The music! The music is horrible; 80s&90s; the “DJ” is horrendous at spinning & mixing; other friendly words, este lugar vale verga! & I mean that a bad way, Wei!

Very bad service, very bad place to go out and have fun. I was at the bar ordering drinks with a bartender and he gave me my drinks and when it came time to pay he asked for my card and ID which I thought was ok to verify I am the cardholder but then he kept both my card and ID and said the minimum to pay with card was $20 and rather than asking me if I wanted to order more drinks or not he kept it and said I would get it back once I reached the $20 minimum. Later on in the night when I went back to the bar to order more drinks I went to a different bartender as the first one was busy tendering other customers and I ordered drinks with this bartender and he gave them to me and then just had a blank stare on his face looking right at me and was expecting my card and ID and I told him I had given it to a previous bartender and then he took the drink he had given me back and mentioned I needed to order with the same bartender as earlier and would not serve me. So then I proceeded to wait until the other bartender was available again which took an eternity. Nevertheless I will mention I will not come back to this establishment as they lack in customer service and quality.

I'm surprised this nightclub is still there, and I never knew that it later became a LGBT venue. Back in the 1990s it was a regular nightclub with rooms that played different music like dance/techno in the back room and Tejano/Country in the front room. Lots of good times dancing the night away with the pretty ladies there. I remember the bartender Floyd who was a pretty cool guy and he knew how to make really good mixed drinks. I remember one night when I started a tab and realized I left my wallet at home when I went back to the bar to close the tab. Floyd just told me to pay him the next time, which I did the following weekend with a good tip since I greatly appreciated him being understanding and not letting me ruin my night. Too bad there aren't enough bartenders like him.

As I was walking to the club I got ambushed by a parking attendant asking me where I parked I ignored the question and kept walking when he got in my face and asked me again super aggressive I told him that's none of his business where I parked and I kept walking towards the club where he continues to follow me harassing me with the same question where did I park I told him again that's none of your business he then said he's the parking attendant it is his business and got in my face I told him to walk away and go park a car or something and I entered the club 20 minutes later a cop comes at me inside and asked me to step outside I go outside to find out the parking attendant called the cops to ask me where I parked I told the cop the same thing I told the attendant that's none of your business where I parked or how I got here I committed no crime so again it's none of your business or the parking attendants business that's like me asking him where he lives the cop agreed and let me return to doing me. Very bad experience first time there the crowd is ok but I got 3 drinks spilled on me on the dance floor but all in all it's a ok place but definitely not my go to for the future place needs an upgrade very old fashioned set up.

I think place needs new modern music and good prices that Will attract the community. I remember those good Energy nights and TOYZ when it was so hard to find parking because of how full the club was. Dancing music Please. And good Bartenders that know how to make drinks.

My first time to visit overall I'm definitely interested in coming back, Wednesday night had strippers I was amazed of how friendly and welcoming they were. Drinks were 7$ and the atmosphere was very young and diverse with the variety of songs. Looking forward for the sequel !!

in general the club itself is not that bad, but the music needs to be up to date it seems to be more of what the Rebelde wanna be DJ likes and plays, also the entrance has been increased to $15 and the bars only take cash and cards NO PHONE PAY, also parking is $20 or just park on the building on the right side of Colorado.
