Da Vinci Massage

That was the worst massage I've ever had. I went on Friday night(1/6/23). The location is right next to a tattoo shop. Throughout my massage I could hear the music and people inside the tattoo shop. There was a woman(I'm going to assume she works there.) She was not quiet at all. She dropped a cup and I could also hear her movements throughout the massage. The massage was going alright until he started using his elbow. The entire massage felt as if the guy didn't know what he was doing. He only massaged my back and pain began immediately. You could tell I was uncomfortable and was moving away. That's when he would stop with the pressure and start back. I was on time and the massage started at 620 pm. It did not last for 1 hour. He stopped when there was ten minutes left. And five minutes later asked me if i was dressed. When I asked him what kind of massage was that he said Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Shiatsu and another name massage. This confirmed that Steve/Sam has no clue what he's doing. I felt worse than when I came in. My entire body was sore for 5 days. My hips were so painful and I've had trouble walking all week. Also I don't know why they only had Cetaphil lotion, oils with no labels and the table was hard as heck. After my massage I looked around the room and it was different from other places I have been. It's lacking. Not to mention a picture is hanging upside down. I should've left when I saw that. I do not recommend this place.

The place looks clean but smells like mold. The massage was a bit too hard @ times but the massage therapist responded to my feedback. He never introduced himself and then asked me for a tip as I was leaving. I do not tip on massages especially when they cost hundreds. It was a Groupon and I wish I could give feedback to them about my experience. Creepy

I looooove going here!! The masseuse is just amazing, amazing, amazing. Respectful, highly skilled and very in tune with my body; it’s like he knows where it hurts before me even telling him. It’s not fancy or whatever but I don’t care because I’ve been to places where it’s fancy and the massage is horrible. Here, it’s not fancy but the massage is amazing. I wish I could go everyday!!!! Thank you soooo much! My neck, back, and shoulders appreciate you!

Comfortable and simple environment. Massage therapist was respectful. He was skilled and used several different massage styles and techniques. He listened to my requests and gave extra attention to my areas of tension. Particularly good job on the neck. He used hot stones briefly which were a bit too hot, but when I said that he was careful with them.

I walked into an unmarked doorway, and immediately was greeted by the stench of rotten squid or fish and a single gentleman amid a wall of white curtains. It did not seem like a legitimate business at all. I did not feel safe and left. This needs to be investigated by the BBB.

i’m shocked to see some bad reviews! some people have really closed minds. Someone is on here reviewing and they never went, their wife did and someone else is on here reviewing because of the aesthetics of the place. Yes this location is not a glamorous spa but I don’t go to get massages for the environment I go to get work done on my body. Al does incredible body work! The one time I went it was just Al and another woman who stayed in the back during my entire massage. I’m assuming she was his wife. They were both friendly. as far as the environment is concerned, yes, there are curtains, it was ambient lighting, it was warm, and there was music. I was given privacy to change before, and after the session. I felt safe the entire time. I also went at night time and booked his last appointment and got a full 90 minutes of service. I booked through Groupon and my Groupon was honored. If you want an incredible full body massage at a incredible price book here; if you just wanna complain and shoot down someone’s business, then God bless you.

Having read all the comments on Yelp, Google etc, i had a bit of trepidation, as my friedm had booked this massage for me, and Al had mixed reviews: either people loved him or they did not. Well, after i met Al and conveyed my concerns to him that i was worried about getting injured further than i already was with regard to my lower back, he and I agreed he would focus on that but not go too crazy. It turned out to be very relaxing, and my back feels much less tight as of right now. The hour went by very fast, and so i think i might even have fallen into a transe or light sleep...but a full hour it was...nice nondescript music...nice usage of hot rocks in the end..Al is a nice guy and seems experienced. He never stopped that i recall, and did as I asked, so i think that those who did not think Al listened to them, might actually not have made sure that their thoughts had actually come across. Thumbs up.

I have been several times- a wonderful and consistent massage. Without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever had. The pressure amount he defaults to is great for me- but he is very responsive when I ask him to adjust it as well. As another comment mentioned, expect a mom and pop small massage place.
