It's so exciting to have an Eagle back in Dallas! This venue is beautiful and is decorated with some amazing local queer artists' work. It has one large central bar with multiple bartenders, as well as kind of a smaller bar in the corner of the dance floor. I went on opening night and it was PACKED, so if you're going anytime soon I'd get there early (like before 9p.m. honestly). The dust is still settling on a lot of things, so we'll have to wait and see how busy it gets on a more average/casual night, but for the time being you can expect Bear Night every Thursday, Gear/Leather night every Saturday, and Trash Disco every Sunday. I highly recommend checking out the location to enjoy the vibe and feel the excitement from the community about having an Eagle again. To make it easier on you for the crowds plan on arriving early, closing out your tab after each drink (the tabs aren't shared between each bartender), and being patient with the staff as they get into the rhythm of all the newness going on.

I’ve been to the old location and I enjoy the new one. I love going on their gamer nights on Tuesdays. This is dominantly a male bar. Very leather friendly.

Staff is super friendly. Great on party nights and for just meeting a friend to catch up. Can be as light or as heavy as you'd like.

Great to have the Eagle back! - Strong drinks - Super clean bathrooms - New pool tables (bit off level tbh) - Friendly staff - Private patio area (wobbly tables tbh) - Nice men #Beary

Overall, starting to shape its identity as a new leather venue. PLEASE TURN DOWN THE MUSIC. Not able to have any sense of a conversation with anyone without shouting. I would have stayed more than an hour otherwise. I am not the only one with this complaint. I hope to go often if they can get the atmosphere right.

Great leather bar with great music, and a large dance floor. Great Staff and Bar service. Plenty of unisex restroom stalls. They even have lockers if you want to change your clothes. Patio space was long but narrow.

First of all, all posts, pictures, and reviews on here before October of 2023 are invalid. This is not the same Dallas Eagle of before. This is a new location, new owner and completely new bar. I love that it is away from Oaklawn! I live by Six Flags and I can finally go out in Dallas and be there in less than 15 minutes! The two times I have been here since the Grand Opening have been wonderful. An actual return to a Gay Men’s Bar! No females, they/thems or alike trying erase Gay male spaces. Hallelujah. Hope it stays that way.

I live about 10 minutes from this bar, and I've been here about 8 times since I moved to Dallas 6 years ago. The atmosphere of the bar is what is advertised, a leather bar with occasional busy nights (mostly Saturday). I find other nights of the week really struggle. They have bondage equipment on display (a saint Andrews cross--Google it) which is NEVER used, it's basically PR. Maybe my expectations are too high after seeing real leather bars after traveling to other big cities, but I feel like this place is a big commercial with none of the "real thing". Everything is designed for a politically correct version of the leather brand. It's pretty much identical to every other bar in the gay Dallas area just with a leather skin on it. Bartenders here do not honor line order, they will serve people who obviously cut and edge in line. I've had it happen twice with two different Bartenders. Just out for the money. No real community feel here. It's definitely a commercially owned bar, not a local business. Edited 7 months later as an afterthought for anyone interested in music that it will be the typical canned "boom-chick a-boom" repetative constant repeat all night. No interjection of historic, recent, or current dance or edm music here.
