dba256 Bar & Gallery

An interesting bar venue in downtown Pomona with a really big beer selection. The venue area has cool lighting and a good amount of seating, both long, high bar tables and shorter tables with a booth on one side. The bathrooms are OK, pretty punk-ish vibe to them (and I think the men’s stall needs some updating on the lock situation). Overall it’s a pretty decent spot for beer and music. I didn’t try the food so cannot comment on it yet.

I used to live in the area, it was my favorite place to go for a beer on a weekend night. The bartenders were friendly, the regulars were nice local people, the beer selection was always on top. The bands playing were good. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. I try to visit whenever I'm in town.

This bar is a vibe!! We came in here after seeing a show at the glass house. Priscilla was our bartender and she is awesome!!! She is so nice and personable and just genuinely one of those people that puts off amazing vibes! This bar also has so much more to offer than just wine. Plenty of beers, specialty beers/drinks. The next time we come to the Glass House for a show, we will definitely be stopping in again! Special shoutout to the people around us at the bar who were so friendly. No one felt like strangers, we all just collectively started talking, and sharing awesome stories. It feels rare that these things happen, and it was just nice to make genuine human connections!! I highly recommend this bar!! If it’s this good on a Monday, I am sure the weekend is a lot of fun!!

On 2/10 around 12:30 ish a painting fell on me. I was sitting along the wall and it fell from the wall. The workers saw and heard but didn’t attend me. I yelled because of the pain. The guard came to see what happened but just took the painting. No one asked if I was ok or offered me ice to put on my injury. I immediately felt my thigh swell up. I had an about 5 finger wide bruise from the painting and now have a permanent dent and bruise. So bad customer service.

Hadn't really gone out in a long time in this type of environment. It was nice to enjoy the band playing as usual and they always have my favorite sculpin beer IPA. It was nice to be out back at dba.

I loved Goth night here!!! It was so much fun and I met some incredible people!

I like dba but for the amount of people they get for events they need to have a bigger restroom. They only have one stall in each with people waiting. Do better.
