This bar is top tier. The ambiance is real relaxing and dimly lit at night. All of the specialty drinks are amazing, and each come in unique cups that fit the pirate theme of the bar. All of the staff are friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They also have a Japanese whiskey bar upstairs. That is pretty unique as far as I am concerned. I would definitely recommend coming here if you come to Astoria.

Amazing spot for some unique cocktails, great food and fun atmosphere! This is a really good value place - we ordered several of their cocktails and a few of their food items and we were really happy with everything! The food items are very well portioned for a reasonable priced and taste amazing! Definitely try the Togarashi Tots Dead Man’s Bibimbop or the Loco Moco! The drinks are mostly rum based and are delicious! If you want something stronger, go for the Rum Barrel - a delicious rum heavy cocktail served in… a barrel mug 🙂 If you are interested in a more spectacular serving of your cocktail, try the Volcano! All the cocktails we tried were great though, so you can’t go wrong! Additionally, you can also purchase the cool looking mugs they are served in! At the back of the bar there is also a Japanese speakeasy that serves drinks based on Japanese alcohol!

A great tiki bar! We shared a volcano between the three of us and it was amazing! Then I had a Dead Man's Group, which was seriously tasty. The glasses they use for their drinks are so entertaining. The food was excellent. Their pork sliders were great. I had the spam musubi and it was absolutely delish. Also we had their "filthy" tater tots with cheese curds, pork and curry gravy. Sounds good? It was even better than imagined. The service was friendly and helpful, but we did have to work to get their attention a few times. No problem, the place is so fun and full of tiki kitsch that it wasn't annoying. Just the best tiki bar I've ever been into.

This place is beyond amazing. The best bar that I have ever been to. The little Japanese bar (reservation only) is unbelievable. Love this place. Amazing drinks and the super cool ceramic glasses are above and beyond. What a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to return

Super fun and very unique, creative drinks. Only had the spring rolls for food, but they were great. Diverse clientele, because who doesn't love a tiki drink! Plus, we went the weekend before Halloween, so people were dressed up, which was super fun. The service was fantastic!

A little tiki fun in a town known for its history involving the high seas as well as some of the more nefarious actions in the day. Don't get Shanghai'd in Astoria as the song says. The food is great, the cocktails better, and the mugs can't help but go home with you. The new Japanese ramen shop that has a decent list of Whiskeys, Sake, and Shochus is a fun addition. Escapism inside of escapism.

08/31/24: Super cool spot. Arrived just at opening to be able to hang out in Yakimon Izakaya with Quinn behind the bar. Good cocktails and nice Japanese whisky selection. We then migrated downstairs to the bar and ordered a couple of cocktails and bought a couple of tiki mugs.

The coolest tiki bar I've been to. Our server was very fun and chatted with us about the restaurant and the drink options. Each drink comes in a different glass and the decor is so charming.
