Deano's Pub

Lovely hole in the wall with great bands, but 10$ IPA's are a bit overtaxed with bars in downtown La Mesa offering same IPA's for 7$

The best bar ever. Chill and cool. Tim is awesome. Great drinks and not expensive. Great beer selection. Shuffleboard is free and pool tables. Potluck Sundays. Comfortable chairs.

They usually have good bands and a dear friend of mine does kareoke there and you meet a lot of nice people there and friends that you know and street tacos are great. The bartenders are all great. Service sometimes is slow but they pack house on werkends so get there early to get a seat i have recommened to get one more bartender on busy nights.

This is a really great pub. Homey and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. Came to check out a friends band. The place is clean and has a really good vibe. They are welcoming to San Diego music scene and have lots of various events. Good prices on drinks. Well worth the visit. You can tell they are trying to find a niche in a tough market. Great selection of local beers. Great cocktails!

Solid dive bar, nfl package & service for a random out of town guy not looking for much.

This is the second time I've been here since they changed owners.The appearance of the bar has definitely been upgraded. He knocked out a partial wall to expose the street view. Also seems to be inclusivity to LGBTQ. Sundays pool is free. I came here for an afternoon drink. The advertised $6 Jameson which enticed me to come in. I had two drinks and got my bill. The total was $13.02. Nothing an extra dollar was a big deal but most places you go to the taxes are included with the drinks so you know what you're paying. I wasn't sure why so I asked the bartender and she was very snarky with me after I told her I was going to make others aware. She said they were fixing it in January. I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed at all. There was no music playing which seemed to force me to play the Touch tunes jukebox which cost extra money. Overall, the place was ok. Maybe worth visiting to form your own opinion.

I hate leaving reviews to places i love because i don’t want them to be crowded, but this is an amazing establishment that loves to accept new people and bring them into their community. . Out of respect I’ll leave a good review for Deano and Amy but the truth is i would like to keep it a hidden gem. I can’t give enough good words to this place. Come here if you want the perfect sports bar with kind personable experience

I had a blast at Deano’s pub Friday night. A big part of it had to do with that amazing young bartender chick with the tattoos the young one don’t remember her name, but I know it started with a V! So just wanna let everybody know who goes and check that place out make sure that hot tattooed bartender, whose name starts with a V serves you!!! The pub is also a good atmosphere with friendly patrons just a great overall place to hang out at and grab a couple drinks
